  • 🔧 Welcome to Yaletech DIY!
    In this video, I’ll show you how to calculate the power output of a DIY amplifier using 2SA1943 and 2SC5200 transistors with a ±40V power supply. Whether you're building an amplifier for your sound system or just curious about how to estimate wattage, this tutorial will guide you step by step through the process.
    What You'll Learn:
    ✅ How to calculate amplifier power (RMS and peak output)
    ✅ The role of transistors (2SA1943 & 2SC5200) in power handling
    ✅ How to factor in load impedance (speaker ohms)
    ✅ How to estimate power using a ±40V transformer
    By the end of this video, you’ll know exactly how much power your amplifier can produce and how to optimize your design for better performance!

      Your transformer should have the label of it ampere rating, check the body by the side. E.g 5A, 10A etc.
      I hope this help you out 👍, if u need more help let me know

    210Watts RMS. For 1 pair of 2SC5200/2SA1943 with power supply of 40-0-40?

      @yaletech_  18 дней назад +2

      Absolutely because each of those transistors has the ability to produce 150watt max. But considering watt loss in the process of heat generation and also depending on the class of the amplifier.
      So that's how we arrive at 210watt provided it class AB, if it's A or B ,the wattage will drop due to power loss in high amount of heat generation.
