Abby does have a point. It's really obnoxious and annoying when one dance group comes to a dance competition jumping around hooting and hollering backstage it's actually a distraction and inconsiderate to the other teams there and could result in a disqualification or points taken off depending on how strict the competition is.

Good point, but this new instructor seem a little bit over the top. But I think artists are that way. You can see on previous episodes that she's trying to irritate Abby (like Kathy used to do).
Musica I feel like it's staged. Someone always brings Abby a gift or tries to irritate her. If it was constantly from one person, it'd be believable but for nearly every rival to do that is redundant. Erin stands up for her girls respectively, never aims for the kids, has amazing choreography & strong dancers she trained. I like her.

Musica I agree with you. If she did that, then I would respect her. But when they stoop to that level, I can't respect them. I wish she would go on talent alone. When they start playing childish games, I just can't. And yes, I hold them to a higher standard b/c they claim to know better and be better than Abby. Well, they aren't giving their children the right moral message either. Making fun of someone isn't a good lesson. Going above and beyond to make sure you are represting yourself in the best light would be the way to teach your kids. Don't drag yourself down to another's level. Rise above it. I know the producers put them up to it but you can say NO. Even if that means you aren't going to be on the show. Lifetime wants drama though. I don't know what they would say if the rival said they would not play any games and would only conduct themselves in the highest of standards. Does she act like this with her other rivals? Is this the message she wants to send? Apparently so. She's doing it. She's no better than Abby. She could be, but took the easy way out.
The only thing I can think of is how beautiful Maddie's costume is! She should wear that for her next solo.

Abby is right when she told the BDA their annoying. It's so annoying when people scream and shout chants it's just obnoxious. Like, people are trying to run dances, talk in a reasonable voice, do hair and makeup, like it's already crazy enough in the dressing rooms/backstage so the last thing we need is some group chanting and screaming.

in dance, you want to be aware of your comepetition. it is very obvious that kendall and jojo aren't on the same level as maddie, and the girl was just staying on top of it and pointing it out. it's actually very normal at comps and i dont think she was being rude
sometimes u are prepared for one thing Jojo and Kendall but when u through another dancer who is consistent and her strength is pretty lyrical/contemporary which always seems to win is a problem.
