All i did to mine was lower it (not the slammed suspension) left the oem wheels and changed color and interior color .. ima leave it stock with jus power upgrades lol
I had a teacher point out to my class years ago why he loved Monte Carlo’s so much, it’s because of that signature body line. He said no matter how old the Monte Carlo is, all year models have that distinctive body line that swoops from the hood/fender to the door, and across the rear wheel arches. And if you look at the actual mountain, Monte Carlo, you can see where they got the lines from. Just a little fun factoid.
Rockstar can’t never do anything right. I mean damn this is a gorgeous car and it definitely should have been a Benny’s vehicle .. I remember my dad had one of these in black with crushed velvet red seats 😩…I would’ve loved to get close to that make with the Benny’s options ..

I love this car because my little brother had one. He's no longer with us but he loved that 76 Monte Carlo. We used to play GTA all the time and he ALWAYS wanted them to put the Monte in the game so I built mine JUST like his. Blacked out on Gold Daytons. I miss that kid so much man. Rockstar hit me in the heart today but I'm okay with it.
Rockstar definitely missed some opportunity here. There were a lot of customization options that could be easily done like Primary, Secondary trim and bumper options, trim delete, Primary or Secondary headlight and taillight housings, maybe full or half vinyl roof, different grille options.
Reminds me of Midnight Club 3. There was a 1978 Monte Carlo available for purchase. I love customizing and racing in that bad boy. I miss Midnight Club 😢
The Black Delegation formally request the donk and low rider versions. As well as options for a ragtop, t-top and convertible. A slew of decadent liveries would be absolutely amazing also. Oh and don't forget LEDs for the subwoofers and flip down screens. Thank you and good night✌🏿
I guess you could kind of do a ragtop with the secondary color, but then you can't use pretty much any liveries and have it look good. Great car but disappointing customization
Would of been cool to be able to add hydraulics to this. I remember in San Andreas this wasn’t really considered a lowrider but it bounced higher than the lowriders

At least someone mentioned this car being in San Andreas, this used to be a Ballas car. But i don't think this was a lowrider in SA, but there was one stray Tahoma in a race made only for lowriders in one of Caesar's missions, that if you acquired after the race ended didn't have hydraulics as well haha. Must've been a bug. I played on the ps2, so things might differ from your experience.
@@ritupamsarma4759 You're mistaking with the Majestic (the Faction's predescessor) which was also another car based on the GM G-Body generation (Buick Regal Turbo to be precise) which it was the only car that was supposed to be an lowrider in the beta, but, it was cut in the last moment, but, yet it still appears in the lowrider themed race for Cesar.
I think this car was supposed to be a free car anyway so R* decided to put no effort to the customisation and mark up the price so everyone be like “hey R* is giving everybody a 1.5 million dollar car for free lets hop back in gta” That’s the vibe I’m getting
I'm definitely going to get an extra one just in case there is an upgrade later down the road just like how the Brioso 300 was free for a bit and later had a Benny's upgrade

I remember spending a lot of days with my grandma when i was a kid, and her neighbor on the front had a black Chevrolet Monte Carlo with chromed rims, it was a super wide and beautiful car. I'm definitely picking it up later today.
I'mma do mine's like the Training Day build to keep it subtle , and it's going to look sweet with that sinister black. Thank you Rockstar for that treat. And that will go good with my G body collection along with that Buick Regal GNX and the Chevy Malibu coupe variant.

The Tahoma was a Car from Gta San Andreas mostly used by Ballas Gang Members and those Dudes in Grey Glothes and they brought it back to Gta Online. The BF Surfer Custom that has the Ability to be made into the Mothership from The Truth also in Gta San Andreas. The Rest "at the Moment" except the Tulip M-100 and 300R are Re-skins or Vehicles brought back from older 3D Era Grand Theft Auto Games.

He raced his friends after school and he told me stories of when he got back home those same nights. The cops would be waiting for him at his parents house.
I love the design of this and hope it becomes a Benny's car in the near future, this and the Tulip M-100 are nice but need more customisations and become a Benny's car in the near future, also love to see the Sabre from GTA4 be added in the game so we can have more G-Bodies in the game and I wouldn't mind more as long as they get Benny's version of them

My pops had this car when I was a kid. He bought it from a police auction. One day I was sitting in the back and reached under the seat. There was a pair of Sai's like Raphael from Ninja Turtles. But real ones. Not toys. My dad had no idea. Whoever owned the car before apparently was an assassin in training or some shit. 😂 Sadly, one day someone stole the car and NYPD being NYPD didn't put any effort into recovering it.

I wish that they had drag tires in the game, a buck thick tire you could put on cars. They give you these big hoods, big intakes, superchargers, splitters and blowers, but then only got rubber band tires. There are just so many small things that if they added would mean the world to everyone. They need to hire some people who actually play the game.

This car should have named Majestic instead of Tahoma since in gta san andreas the Tahoma is a 4 door and the Majestic is more similar and it's a 2 door.
@@JohnnySinnzz Yeah I just checked and the Majestic is indeed based on the Regal rather than Monte Carlo and the original Tahoma takes inspiration from some 80's GM sedans too cuz of the 4 doors, so I think it makes sense to call it Tahoma
Coming up with such sick builds so quick is a talent. Always scrolling through menus for much longer, wasting money changing options back and forth to end up with something mediocre.
I wish there was a supercharger option because sometimes the sound effects of the Turbo do not match the theme of the build and so I wish you could still get the performance from the forced induction but as a supercharger tuning so you can get that wine.

I got an idea for your movie/TV cars you can make Julian’s Monte Carlo from trailer Park boys. It’s probably not the same in GTA but it’s just a suggestion idea.
I’m happy they added the 78 Chevrolet Monte Carlo and I also like how it’s almost identical to the real life car I drove this car in another game made by Rockstar Midnight Club 3 Dub Edition on the PSP growing up it brings back many memories I’ll definitely be buying this car in GTA and I’m a fan of the 78 Chevrolet Monte Carlo and the older models too

Even though the customization isn’t all that great I do think the look of the car makes up for it. It looks identical to its real life counterpart stock
Rockstar is being smart adding the Malibu and monte carlo, but also have missed opportunities on the both. But, I cant complain because atleast they made the cars simple looking instead of adding ridiculous things onto them. Especially making in to where the wheels arent so deep into the wheel Wells like the 240z when you add the wide body.
I was hoping customization on it would've been better to where you can make it look like the Sabre from gta 4 or the real life 1985 Monte Carlo SS the fact you can't de-chorme it is a big bummer.
My 87 monté Carlo ran 10s all day N/A back in the 90s. Still run it on the drag strip today but everyone runs boost so I lose alot but it's still fun to hear the cheering as I pop a wheelie
I like how it's not just a one time purchase as free it's free free all weekend. I ended up grabbing two so I can do one as the Training Day and a second one as a more suped up drag racer type.

once i heard this coming to game i got so excited. my dad is currently taking a monte for a customer and sanding it then painting it primer. its a SS monte too.
That's the exact build I am going with lol Training day.. But I believe they will make it a Benny Vehicle in the future lol Rockstar is a business and they will make money off of this car believe me.

The vibe im getting is that the Surfer 2, Journey and Tahoma will all get Bennys upgrades in the future.

I got an idea for your movie/TV cars you can make Julian’s Monte Carlo from trailer Park boys. It’s probably not the same in GTA but it’s just a suggestion idea.

I’m happy they added the 78 Chevrolet Monte Carlo and I also like how it’s almost identical to the real life car I drove this car in another game made by Rockstar Midnight Club 3 Dub Edition on the PSP growing up it brings back many memories I’ll definitely be buying this car in GTA and I’m a fan of the 78 Chevrolet Monte Carlo and the older models too

Even though the customization isn’t all that great I do think the look of the car makes up for it. It looks identical to its real life counterpart stock
Alright, a Monte Carlo is here, now it's free, very nice.
Rockstar is being smart adding the Malibu and monte carlo, but also have missed opportunities on the both. But, I cant complain because atleast they made the cars simple looking instead of adding ridiculous things onto them. Especially making in to where the wheels arent so deep into the wheel Wells like the 240z when you add the wide body.

I was hoping customization on it would've been better to where you can make it look like the Sabre from gta 4 or the real life 1985 Monte Carlo SS the fact you can't de-chorme it is a big bummer.
My 87 monté Carlo ran 10s all day N/A back in the 90s. Still run it on the drag strip today but everyone runs boost so I lose alot but it's still fun to hear the cheering as I pop a wheelie
This car is so clean, with the 2 tone livery and white walls.

I like how it's not just a one time purchase as free it's free free all weekend. I ended up grabbing two so I can do one as the Training Day and a second one as a more suped up drag racer type.

once i heard this coming to game i got so excited. my dad is currently taking a monte for a customer and sanding it then painting it primer. its a SS monte too.
