I have just been officially diagnosed with TA. I am still coming to terms with it and this truly helps my husband and I understand it. I was told it is a long road ahead and a vascular surgery might be required for my case and I am freaking out to say the least. But atleast now I know what is causing all of my symptoms that I used to just put down as individual issues and not something so rare. Would love to hear others experience please.

Hello! With what medical specialties should a person go? I've been struggling a lot with strange symptoms that don't take you seriously or don't understand you. I have pain in the left side of ny chest, neck and brain. The heart and neck pulsates also on the brain. And I feel it like if my brain were swollen and inside the neck hurts a lot and the chest left side too. I feel dizzy, etc pain in bones, ...etc. 😢 🙏🏼

@@sarafarid8952 it started with pain in left side of my face then a month later I started having high fevers, night sweats, weight loss and finally chest pain, the pain was severe sharp stabbing in nature. During an abdominal ultrasound docs found enlarged lymph nodes and diagnosed me with TB and started me on ATT. Then I underwent CT chest and abdomen then this disease was diagnosed while the disease was still in very initial state, minor inflammation of aorta was noted.
I am too suffering from this disease ; Symptoms include Tiredness; extreme fatigue ; arms/muscles weakness ; headache; anxiety ; sadness ; irritability ; irritability with sound ; noise ; people ; and everything .... Become almost socially alienated ...... But .... one thing i have learn ; a physically and mentally strong person would never understand the pain of person who is terribly suffering ....... whoever he/she is even if they are your parents/loved one still they don't understand ....... Its not physical pain .... But also psychological ; social and in many ways it effects the lives/life ......... .........

Wbc orlday within the lumen but when theris vasculitis it occor in the wall of bv so they migrate to the site of inflammation in the wall and cause granuloma formation. So steroid inhibit this stage

In any case of narrowing of the blood vessels, you will see increased BP BEFORE the narrowing and decreased BP AFTER the narrowing.
