Please do another movie. I love it more than the kids. It’s the kid in me. These are the movies we do need. Not the stupidity of cartoons that curse and teach our kids nothing, or the video games that can be hacked and our kids being stolen. We need Nanny McPhee small c big P. 💯💯💯💯
Nanny McPhee 1 & 2 are akin to this generation's Wizard of Oz in stature and lore. As I was anticipating the third film (and at age 58 yet!) to learn that the lineage ends with a Big Bang! is somewhat disappointing; putting it mildly. I'd heard that Nanny McPhee's next adventure was to have been set in the present day and there was a comforting sense of completion in that knowledge for me. Well, I would thank Emma Thompson for the jewels which are her works as Nanny McPhee to date and can but hope there'd be a continuance at some point.

Sure, Nanny McPhee 2 didn't make too much at the box office, but I think they should Nanny McPhee 3 nonetheless. Same thing for Mr. Peabody and Sherman, first film didn't do so well at box office, but still make movie 2
