You are one of the few stylist to actually show how outfits can be put together so much thanks. This is so helpful to someone like me who has all the pieces but needs to style them.
I am more of a pants person but I think I should look into skirts/dresses this year. I feel like the combinations would double if I pair my tops with 1 additional skirt/dress. Although I would replace the black-Tee with a black/grey short-sleeve knit, since the black-Tee would take up valuable space if I am only going to wear it for causal Fridays. A grey short-sleeve knit and a pair of navy cotton relaxed pants is my favorite combo so far :)
I love your choice of wardrobe and I'll be using it to my future office outfit as I am planning to redo my style and I'm into minimalist kind of thing. ❤️ Your makeup is absolutely my go to can you please do a makeup video of it 🙏🏼
Awh so glad it inspired you. Thank you so much, I’m not much of a makeup guru but it’s definitely something I can keep in mind. I have shared some more makeup related content on my Instagram if you follow me over there @gemmaamclean xx
Gemma McLean oh really you did, thanks I'll check it right away and I'm sorry for my late response. I'm looking forward for more interesting videos of yours 💗
Great selection of quality items. I wouldn’t wear jeans, but would replace them with maybe a cream pleated midi skirt. I would upgrade the black cotton t-shirt to a silk one.
My wardrobe has 40 pieces.... 19 pieces are my work wardrobe (professional - no jeans, no tshirts) 11 pieces are my casual wardrobe. 6 pieces are my workout gear. 4 pieces are lounge wear. That is all the clothing I own. I don't do accessories. I prefer a clean, simple look.
These are my goals haha. Quick question - How many times on a regular work day do you change your outfits? For me I've to change from loungewear to workout gear in the morning, then to my officewear, then I come back and wear casuals as I tend to hang out with friends in the evening, and then I switch to loungewear again. I'm looking to optimize this and wondering what other people do?
@@NehaJeevan I put workout gear on in the morning to work out and then hang it to air for use the next morning. I dress professionally and commute to work. I come home and hang those clothing to air for rewear. I then put on loungewear for the evening (working days I don't socialize as the days are long and I have family to focus on after being gone all day). In general, I wear my tops & bottoms twice between washings. Yes, even my workout gear...
I use the hand wash setting on my washing machine to wash my cashmere, and air dry. In between washed I keep them fresh with a wool deodorising spray. The rest of my laundry I do based on the items, for example I will wash my jeans maybe after every 10 washes or so, unless they get obviously dirty, but for tops I may only wear once or twice before washing. I also use my deodorising spray on tops and T-shirt’s to fresh them up. X
I have a question for you. What rules are you REQUIRED to follow at work re dress code? Are you fore example allowed to wear jeans in all situations? Or are there some situations where it's forbidden?
Every company or industry is different, unless you have a strict dress code set our at work eg a suit or something formal/corporate, I think you can wear an HR hint within reason. If you work in a creative industry you can get away with more creative style at work, for example. I generally dress smarter until I understand the dress code of a place, and follow what others seem to be wearing.

I'm so glad it's been helpful for you Delisa :)
Finally an office wardrobe video with outfits you can actually wear in a corporate environment! :D
And they are pretty too :)
I'm so glad they were helpful. I don't work in a corporate environment so I can never be sure what the dress code is, but I'm glad I covered it 🙂
You are probably a rare person who has done a work capsule. Really appreciate it.
I’m so glad you enjoyed it. I have another work Capsule video, a little bit more recent than this one if you fancy some more inspiration xx
