What’s the point of having security if they can’t/ won’t do anything about theft, on camera? Wow. So sorry this happened guys, and love to see your positive attitude. For those of us that couldn’t drop $600 once, much less twice, glad you were able to work it out and have the discount. Hopefully something will come of your police report. @@Mohamed-vg8qb No, not at all. If they are unable to take action to stop a theft, when they have the individual on camera, there is really no point. They may as well direct all individuals to the local police department and be done with it.

I think the priority of security is people's physical safety.
In order for security to get involved you have to call police it's very similar to Walmart and Target you have to file a police report in order for security get involved and they're only going to show the person of interest to the police oh what supposedly happened to the police that's just the way it works
I don't understand how anyone can justify stealing someone's stuff. I'm a single mother of four, have no clue how to buy my kids presents this year, but I would NEVER dream of stealing someone else's things. God is always watching....they say what you do to someone comes back 10 fold.

I would be so upset but love your positive attitude and how you handled the situation. It’s so awful that people do these terrible things and especially during a season that is supposed to be filled with love and generosity. I have this awful feeling that they looked at your beautiful family and assumed that you must be well off and that they were entitled to take your things bc you could afford to get more and they couldn’t. You can’t judge a book by its cover, like you said, that was half your budget! What if that was for charity, like you were shopping for the less fortunate and these people just made their assumptions and took your things with this bad attitude. So upsetting.
That really really sucks but it's nice how the Mother just assumed that whoever stole it needed it more. I love how real they are and trying to be nice even with what just happened to them. They have 16 kids and someone stole $700 worth of clothes that's a big chunk of their Christmas budget and Christmas gifts in general
I'm so sorry for what happened to u. I don't care how much money someone has stealing is no excuse and your mall should have handled it a little better . I'll pray for you all to have a happy and safe holiday and pray that the person who took your stuff bring it back to the mall.❤🙏

I'm so sorry that happened to you... I know if it had happened to me as a Mum I would have definitely been in tears, but could see you had to put on a brave face for your kids, Tiffany - you did well to hold it together! They all looked so sad. It's just such an icky sickening feeling when things like that happen. I probably would have had to look at it as "charity" too, to cope with it. Were you able to get to your car? That would have been the icing on the cake if not. Thankful you were still able to replace the items and the kids didn't miss out completely, but regardless, what a horrible experience that you'll never forget. Love to you all and glad it was a happy day in the end for the kids at least xx

Every people have needs but stealing is not the solution. That lady is setting a bad example to her kids. I hope she understands and return those clothes. 600$ is a huge amount and even The Nelsons worked hard for those money. They are kind enough that they let it go,that's why I told that good things will come to them.
I've found "security" at most places to be almost useless, because they often are limited on exactly what they can do for you if something like this happens. So sorry you guys had to go through that!!! Some people just really HAVE to be the Grinch at a time of year when kindness and giving should be what you exemplify in your actions.
I can’t imagine how horrible that feels, and your positive attitude is beautiful. But as a mom of young children who can’t even imagine having 600 dollars to spend on Christmas. It sounds like an absolute dream. She went about it in a horrible way, and I would never steal from anyone. But I know how stressful this time of the year is. Especially for moms. We all want to give our children a Magical Christmas.

I’m so sorry that happened. Recently a package was put in my mailbox that belonged to neighbor a couple of streets over that I didn’t know. I went to take it to him and he was in disbelief that I was honest brought it to him. He kept thanking me over and over again and I could tell whatever was in the package must have been pricey and important to him. I was surprised that he was surprised by my honesty because wouldn’t most people do the right thing? It wouldn’t have dawned on me to keep something that didn’t belong to me. I hope healing can happen in all the hearts of those that steal, so that they won’t feel a need to take from others. May they know that a appreciative and thankful heart is a heart that attracts more of the same to it. An entitled and deceitful heart will not be attracting abundance.
I literally burst into tears when I realised you weren't getting your bag back and how humble and kind you were towards the situation. So many people need to learn from such a patient and caring family! I wish you all the best this Christmas and for the New Year. Lots of love

I love how positive you are when a bad thing happens. You guys are one of my favourite family's to watch on RUclips, it breaks to see that someone would take it and not hand it in. We aren't in a good financial situation ourselves, but I would always do the right thing and hand it into security or the store it was brought from, as I like to teach my children the right thing to do. It was very kind that the stores did give you a discount as well.
I love this RUclips channel it is always amazing never let me down once. At least you made those kids Christmas better

Out trampoline flew through the fence in the massive storms recently and there is no way I can afford to replace it so now the kids go without. It’s such a blessing your kids won’t go without.
I love how calm they all were bc if that was my Mum she would have of been so mad,stressed and angry.
One of my favorite Christmas traditions is opening stockings on Christmas Eve and this year at church we are starting a new tradition ( new for us ) of lighting the advent candles and our family gets to light the Christ candle on Christmas Eve this year

I’m so sorry that happened. It’s such a horrible feeling. Contact your bank if you were using a debit card, or credit card company that you were using and left them know about the theft. Some will cover your loss or reimburse you for the amount stolen. Hope that helps.
In latin america everyone knows not to leave stuff out of sight even for an instant bcs its gone lol We are used to having things stolen, I´m sorry that happened to you, the good thing is that you learnt from your mistakes and it will never happen again

one of my favorite christmas traditions is on christmas eve we go to my mom's aunt's house and gave a huge Christmas party with food and presents! we have a big family so its fun to see everyone. last year we couldn't because of covid which was really sad and my moms uncle passed away sadly but this year we are doing it!

Me and my husband had something stolen from us and we filed a police report. Thankfully, we had insurance to help us as our item was never found… I hope y’all file a police report. It is really great that y’all are able to repurchase everything, but if something like that happened to me, i would be out of luck . No way i would be able to repurchase everything. The person who did this should be reported so hopefully they don’t do it to someone else… I’m sorry this happened. It was heart wrenching as I could see how distraught you were, but glad you and your children were strong enough to remain positive. ♥️

I'm sorry that you had to go through that! I just saw what a neighbor got from a charity! She is going through a really hard time. She was given a 2/3 empty bottle of perfume, not a toy for a 9 yr old boy, and no food, and the clothes,I as a grandma wouldn't wear! Charity this year STINKS!! People's hearts are stone! BTW, my kids and I came together to get her children Christmas!

I will never understand why some steal. Unfortunately a lot do it just to sell it off. What a horrible example set for her children. All you can do is pray for people like that.
