I’m loving this series man!! Actually learning a lot from these. Thank you so much!! I actually just recently started a channel and trying to teach a lot about in camera transitions and editing things! You’ve inspired me a whole lot man. Thank you again💯🙌🏼
This video has a given me a ton of ideas. You have a great series going on that us teaching me alot about the effects folder. Shouts out to you for making these types of videos. Thanks!
This is such a great idea. I'm shocked that nobody has thought to really capitalize on these kinds of videos because I haven't seen anything like this. Please keep this series up and I hope it gains you some subs!! Many thanks sir!!!!!
I would like to ask how do you make the effect of text coming out from the lens distortion same as the one you use right at the beginning of this video (literally at 0:00 seconds). I have been trying to understand for so long.
Great video and I appreciate the extra advice! @2:28, don't forget you can minimize / adjust the box where you grab the selection tool - so instead of 2 rows of 4 tools, you can make it more narrow and 1 row of 8 tools, that helps me for more efficiency of space overall workspace. I'm sure J.O. already knows that, but it's a general tip for everyone. =]
dope video, i would love to see a video where you explain all the effects you used in this video, like the motion blur on the mouse or the masks on the panels, more like a "How I edit my videos"
Heyy, can you help me out?? I have 48Gb RAM in my pc and still my premiere pro shows that you are running low on RAM.(While rendering in media encoder in bg)
editing my music video with a lot of effects. tried to do similar edits in sony vegas and my computer died when rendered. i’m praying i can render this premiere vid cause it means a lot
Have a question, Justin. When I add Lens Distortion on my video or my picture and I keyframe it, it lags. Even if I render it, it lags again. its not smooth. You know Why?
Thanks for the suggestion. Usually for my tutorials I do show the effect straightaway but in this case I’m not necessarily achieving any end result and so just going over all the effects straightaway is the straightforward approach in my view.
Um,... @ 02:00 I believe that you maybe incorrect regarding what The Yellow Bar above a clip indicates...Here's my understanding of what No Color, Yellow, Red and Green Bars mean in regards to indicators in the sequence panel. Yellow indicates that the clip and or effect is using the Mercury Playback Engine, which could be CUDA Based or Software Based. It indicates that the clip you have in your timeline is not native to Premiere and would require the mercury playback engine in order to playback. When a clip has nothing above it within the panel it means that the clip is native, meaning native codec to premiere. For example a video clip with an H.264 Codec vs GoPro Codec.mov (which is native to premiere) If a clip is Red, it means that the clip may require to be rendered for real-time playback, most likely due to a 32bit effect has been added. Once rendered it will turn from Red to Green, which means the clip/area of the sequence will play a rendered clipped for real-time playback. In some cases an effect can cause a clip to turn Red, meaning it would require a playback render in order to play in real-time. If you look in the effects panel you will see icons that indicate GPU accelerated effects along with 32bit effects and you can sort accordingly.
I appreciate this kind of video. So many things I can do that I didn’t even realize with this program and others. Thank you!
This series was a genius idea & is EXTREMELY helpful. Really demonstrates practical ways these effects can be used. Much appreciated!
Thank you

Heyy, can you help me out?? I have 48Gb RAM in my pc and still my premiere pro shows that you are running low on RAM.(While rendering in media encoder in bg)
Can you make the “Sphere-ize” points increase in size as a clip plays? or are they stuck in place?
You can keyframe it yes
What is the kind of ripple at the intro called?
Tell me how u make this effect 0:00

It’s just your machine probably
me seeing all these people casually talking about how to use adobe premiere pro:
meanwhile my budget:
my dreams of making memes with distort effects:
bro get it from getintopc
👌👌👌👌👌
I think making a video on how to mask on premier would be a good idea
I have a few videos on masking
Damm we posted at the same time
Can you do one for after effect?
Perhaps after I’m
Done with premiere
Sir my suggestion is to you that before start any effect fist show the effect after that explain it
Thanks for the suggestion. Usually for my tutorials I do show the effect straightaway but in this case I’m not necessarily achieving any end result and so just going over all the effects straightaway is the straightforward approach in my view.
Can you share the effect? Please. ☝️😅
wait so the term "feather the edges" is basically making the edges smoother? and not so define ?
Not necessarily smoother but yes less defined
@@JustinOdisho gotcha, thanks

Thanks, you might be right in a more technical way. What I am saying may be coincidentally accurate in a general sense.
