Cam is right, and I think it is deeper than just not wanting star players to be missing games. But also nobody likes seeing the Legends of the game start shaking, having voice issues, and of course the other things that can come along with CTE. I understand it is a violent sport but wouldn't judge anybody who takes the extra safety measure.

I mean… what are the stats from helmet to helmet vs head to ground conclusions? The latter won’t be improved… studied have suggested the reverse or expect parity. Blunt force reduces for sure though I genuinely have no clue how often proper concussions occur helmet to helmet but we def know head to ground impacts are more than enough. How mobile are you in this? Wideouts would massively benefit. Can a back even run in this the same? Kinda wonder if backs might lead with their head more with it on haha
