I started growing pineapples about 2 years ago and one is finally producing fruit. I just planted the tops of them after eating the fruit. The one with the fruit has become huge- about 2 feet high and wide. I've never seen such a large plant. My others are still growing so I'll have to wait for the fruit. I keep mine in direct sun all day in fairly large pots. I'll have to try the apple peal trick as you suggested
How are your pineapples doing now? Are they indoors or out?
This reminded me of two pineapple cuttings which I rooted in water before Hurricane Irma hit us in S Florida. They are still in water and have been growing. Amazing! I need to get them rooted in soil sometime. Any suggestions? I was thinking I should add some mychorrizobium and add slowly add soil to the jars of water. Any suggestions are appreciated.
OMG !!! It’s Luke from Migardener!
Hello : Found you with a Search. I'd like to ask you a question. I have been growing a Pineapple and it will be 2 years old in June and is doing great but I wanted to ask you. Its in a regular size pot but do I need to transplant it this year because it pretty big now and also I was looking on Amazon for Pineapple Soil and there is so many different kinds I'm not sure what I need. If you can help me out here I'd really appreciate it. Thanks Terry
Nice video
Sorry sir they like a lot of water? The facts are you can overwater them ,they don't need a lot of water even their leaves take in water ,you can actually use a spray bottle on them I grow them, too much water makes their leaves turn yellow ,and it doesn't take much water to cause that to happen.
Great video content! Excuse me for butting in, I would love your opinion. Have you considered - Dinanlinson Crazy Tactic Approach (search on google)? It is an awesome one of a kind guide for discovering how to use short burst interval training to get that beach body minus the hard work. Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my best friend Jordan got cool success with it.
MaxiWay! Hahah .....what?
How often do you put fresh apple peel at base of plant and how long do you keep doing this?? Many thanks
You actually want to use a rotting apple pieces at the center of the plant and cover it with a perforated plastic bag. The released gas from the apples, ethylene, forces fruiting after about two weeks to a month.
Great advice

Mr.migardener is spreading false information
it is a pineapple as the leaves are rigid, there is a central column and leaves are cup shaped
