Thanks for the review. Am currently shopping around for a good N64 controller for PC and I'm leaning towards this one. Btw, the new bluetooth version of this controller does have rumble.
Does it work on the N64 and is it compatible with Minecraft? Would you be able to test it with Java or the Switch versions? Oh, also Super Mario 3D All Stars too?
So RetoFighters actually makes two different versions of the Brawler64, this one that works with Switch and PC and then a different version that's only meant to be used with the N64
For me, this controller not having the rumble feature plus having to hold ZR to use the C buttons kinda kills it for me. If they somehow updated it so you at least don't have to hold ZR to use C then I'd definitely get it.
Could you technically just tape the zr button down to keep the c buttons always active? Silly im sure but id rather do that than pay scalper prices for the n64 switch controller
@@NeiltendoPower already bought this and tried it and yes it works great on Pi but appreciate the reply all the same. Surprised they don't stick that on the front of the box since alot of its purchases will be for Pi using

@@NeiltendoPower Ah ok. Does it work with Minecraft?
Can you also use this controller for the Wii console if the Wii has Nintendo 64 games
I don't think that would work. Maybe with the wired USB version
It’s a pity you can’t get both dongles

@@Jaysus777Live could be worth a shot yeah lol
They've just released a firmware update. Now works as it should.
@@jamesjagger1216 oh really? Welp, sounds like I'm getting one now. Thanks! 😎
@@jamesjagger1216 how do you download it?
This is the N64 version, not Switch?
what do you mean? you can see by the + and - buttons, as well as right there on the box that this is for Switch and PC
Can use on RasPi4 ?
I believe so since it comes with a USB dongle

Really wish it didn't use that dongle, it isn't necessary.
It's using 2.4GHz RF instead of BlueTooth, so it kinda IS necessary for communicating with the Switch.
I'm hoping 8bitdo come out with something similar but bluetooth
@@zaneiken07 Yeah, they shouldn't be using 2.4GHz,
