I was in vietnam for 3 years, when I arived In vietnam I was only 17 years old, they would not draft anyone under 18 years old, but you could enlist if you had your parents sign a waver for you giving there approval, and my mom did just that, I did not have a dad, my paents were divorced. I went thru the tet offensie, and that was nasty, when I finally got home from vietnam, I expected a warm reception from people, instead I gut cussed at F bomds, and I got hit with an egg in the face, the only reason I am telling you all of this is becaue, I want people to know that we did not start that war, the polititions did, so if must blame some one, blame the polititions in Washingto DC
I was a teenager and remember that war too well,..lost some great, dear friends to that war, it still hurts! I can't even imagine what you went through and the scars you have. All I know is, I honor all the brave American souls that went over to Vietnam and fought in that war. I'm sorry you didn't hear it when you came home but...WELCOME HOME SOLDIER AND THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE!!!!

Thank you for your service I was there in 68-69 Oct. come home find out years later that 70% of the homeless were veterans and on the average, there were 21 suicides that were veterans. Had a experience with being homeless went to VA waste of time they just want donations. Thank you much.

In Viet Nam I saw way to many killings 24 hours day and night, bombs, mine fields, the rain, the heat of the jungle, this was over 50 years ago, I am still a mess us kids at age 20 killing in Nam was a f.. nightmare. We came back to our country, who treated us like shit .For those of us who made it back to the USA, we were hated for doing a war job we were forced to do
