One problem I had was that I had to redo most of it because I use safety eyes and I forgot to put them in before I went too far on the tail. :) Wishing a great new year to you.

      I make mine within 2 hours. It is really going to depend on skill level of course.

    So when I get to the skinny body part, I think when I do the single crochets it starts increasing. Do you think you can help me?

    • @makaylafriend
      @makaylafriend  5 месяцев назад +1

      My only tips would be to make sure you are only doing 10 single crochets on each row and to try to tighten your tension. Otherwise it shouldn’t get bigger. Hope that helps some!

    I love this pattern but for some reason my invisible decreases are still visible when it comes to stuffing, can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong please?

    • @makaylafriend
      @makaylafriend  6 месяцев назад

      You may need to use a smaller hook size. If you already have a looser tension when you crochet, it will be more noticeable on the decreases. I always try to tighten my tension when I decrease. Practice will also improve this if you are still new to crochet. My first stuffed animal project is fun of gaps where I decreased. There are also a few other ways to do invisible decreases that you may like better.

      That's helpful thank you! I will look into other ways to invisible decrease but I think you hit the nail on the head - practice, practice and more practice 😊

    Is the body stuffed at all? Or is it just the head?

    • @makaylafriend
      @makaylafriend  6 месяцев назад +1

      The body is lightly stuffed. You dont want to overstuffed the body or it will be lumpy
