Our first trip of the season to Alton Towers and Riding nemesis reborn.

Today we travelled for our first trip of 2024 to Alton towers ‪@officialaltontowers‬ which we were really excited for.
Im afraid to say it was a real disappointment. We waited about 20 minutes outside of the park to collect our pre booked RAP ride access pass ( They really need to use technology)
We then had to wait another 30 minutes stood in our line to collect our pre booked mobility scooter ( the irony)
The staff were all amazing and we felt so sorry for them but management had really let them down.
Once into the park we realised there were hardly any rides open so we headed for spinball whizzer which was good fun before heading over to Gangsta granny at ‪@LucasAndWalliams‬ land. At this point the only big rides open were Nemesis and Wicker man so we decided to head over to Nemesis which is an absolutely amazing ride and so much smoother. Its great to see it back.
After this the rides were still down so we opted to head out via the store.
We fully understand the rides were closed due to weather and safety but this shows where they are really lacking flat rides and the indoor coaster thats been delayed.
The sooner they can get these sorted the better.
We will be back and we cant wait but in the future we wont go when theres been new rules implemented or theres bad weather.
