Scrambler 400 x uses the organic break pad because we will ride it off-road. Speed 400 uses synthed pad because we will ride it in tar mac. If you want sharp breaking as speed 400 instal synthed break pad in scrambler 400 x problem solved

Bro, all the said points are true. But the stock side stand works fine. But if you add the side stand extender that problem comes. You also missed to address the light throw. It's not that effective. You need to fit maddog/hjg fog lamps as additional accessory. I recently went for a 1500 kms trip around South TN with this bike (This is after almost 2 months from purchase of bike). I must say that, once you get used to the bike, this one is a joy to ride. Except for taking out your bike from some idotic parking spaces where you need to lift and push your bike to take out, it does feel that you have a special bike. From braking to weight and suspension everything felt very nice for me once you get to know the bike complete potential. It is the rider that matters the most (75%) and not the vehicle (25%).
Your point on side stand is valid, could have been better . But I have not seen any biker get off the bike to enable the stand. People do it seated but ofcourse it could be a problem for people who can’t flat foot.

Rode this bike and yes height is an issue but not a deal breaker...need a lot of improvement on the breaking may be using the break pads of speed 400 should solve the issue... other than that it is a great bike

I am selling my interceptor 650 and planning to go for 400X . Inty is a good vehicle, perfect for highway rides. But it’s too heavy, not nimble enough . After test riding 400X found it to be more practical and easy to handle.
