I have a similar singers range as you but I have a lot more top end sometimes and even my rode m2 has problems and breaks up when I do my doris day highs. The neewer 800 just crashes the M2 I have to change distance for high clarity. But then getting louder it breaks up a bit. I think I will go with the V67. I'll do some singing tests against my mics once it arrives. Thanks fellow science hobbyist and singer. Btw, don't you feel a little renaisancy (word?) Being able to sing and loving scientific experimentation?
Resonance??? Well, in my Lab days most of my Profs would just tell me to shut up! XD For Stage work, as handheld Dynamics I used to use the Sennheiser E series, Pretty much since they emerged, but now I have a SE-V7X as my daily driver and she takes care of me WELL> As a Backup I use a Beyerdynamic TG-V70s in a situation where you just NEED a switch especially.
Get the "sE Electronics V7x" - its kind of the best of both worlds. Its FAR superior to the sm58... 2 VERY different voices for reference: The Dark Side of the Mic: ruclips.net/video/VgqZBg3kaJs/видео.html Anton Browne: ruclips.net/video/0x7zveYG2jY/видео.html
