I have been on social security disability in the US because of back injury&chronic pain. In no way I know what these folks are facing!! I only meant to say my emotional pain from trauma has left me more held back/limited from experiencing life than I can see in any of these lovely folks!! It really encourages me to push through!!! Thanks "Attitude" for ALL that you do!! God bless you!!!

i worked for a company who said their fire policy was disabled people would be locked in the disabled toilet till the firemen got to you . no window . no exit no ventilation . nowhere to escape . i said " you try and lock me in what is a large cupboard during a fire and i will hit you so hard you will need rescuing" !!!!

great channel! as an individual with rare disabilities and living in a small town, I hardly get to hear other people with disabilities share feelings about life and social situations. It's been great watching this series of videos! thank you :)

Great video! I deal more with the learning disabled in my line of work but I agree that "fun" is relative. My autistic students are the ones who keep my feet on the ground and I have fun with them, maybe not fun as in hanging out with my "normal" friends but we still have fun.

Flying is a pain in the bum when you're a wheelchair user. You always run the risk of the baggage handlers mucking up your wheelchair.

I feel people with disabilities have our own fun, which people without disabilities might not even be able to engage in.

reemCGR For example, people with low-vision play a game called Goal-Ball which I've never heard of sighted people playing. There are various camps/retreats/programs for people with disabilities to build community and enjoy themselves. I can't speak for all disabilities here, but we experience life in a way different than those of able-bodied people which are both unique and positive.
And before anyone goes bashing me for not citing evidence or only providing one example, consider that this is MY experience. Maybe not true for all people with disabilities, but it has been what I have found to be true.

Anastasiya Hoefflinger never heard of Goalball, i just googled it, it looks really fun :P
i guess it depends on the country and the Area you live in.

+reemCGR it is sooo much fun! We have teams and competitions between low-vision school teams. I played it at low-vision summer camps.
