A one line multilinguage that makes me cry. "Snow White" no matter how old I get will always make me cry. It's such a beautiful film and one that holds a special place in our hearts.

I love how the Greek version made its own personal touch.
The lines "Finally we became friends, Grumpy" and "I'll never forget you." are magical.

Totally agree with you, the Eclecta VHS has the most beautiful colors for Snow White! ❤️
I always loved this scene and remember rewind the VHS right after Snow White says the last “Goodbye”! lol Congratulations for this AMAZING multi!! 😍

Thank you so much my dear friend !! :D This multi is a great achievement and even more so thanks to you !! 😊 Also thanks for the Kazakh Cyrillic too !! I've added it to the description :)
Indeed !! It has the authentic film look that suits "Snow White" beautifully. :)
Personally, it's the chorus that gets me. It's so beautiful !! :')

That was a great multi, this movie is a legend, such a piece of art!
Indeed, Albanian's last "Goodbye" was a bit dramatic, lol
My faves are definetely Brazilian, French '62 & Hebrew !
About the Greek version, Matina sounds very classic and I love it. However, I wanted to point out that all these 70's greek dubbings have a more free traslation, the translator didn't follow exactly the English text, but she cared more about the lip-sync. I just love this detail, it makes the text more original and authentic.
For example, here, Snow White says :
    You blushed again
    Finally we became friends Grumpy
    Now your turn
    Goodbye
    Oh, Dopey
    I will never forget you
Especially the last "I will never forget you" gives something more fairytale-like to me, it's perfect!

Oh, I didn’t know it about the translation/adaptation! I would love to know Greek and understand the entire script ><
Indeed, this final scene sounds more authentic then the original version!!!

@Chris -K Thank you so much !! :) Truer words have never been spoken. "Snow White" is a timeless masterpiece !! :D
That's interesting about the Greek version !! That translation is beautiful ! :') I'm surprised Disney didn't call for a redub that followed the English text more closely. :O "Lady and the Tramp" was the only one to be redubbed from the Studio Era period. Although that one might have been redubbed for a multitude of different reasons as were a lot of other languages in 1997.
Side note about the Greek audio used in this video, I used the 1994 Greek VHS for the audio as it's the original mono mix. ;)

Love how the Dutch 1984 and German 1966 dubs have additional dialogue of the Dwarfs bidding her farewell :)
Also, the last "Goodbye" shout in Albanian 2002 was a little sudden... :O

This video was simply incredible, for me it is one of the most beautiful final scenes in Disney films. Also be super surprised to see that Latin Spanish (1938) was present in this video, the final is a dub of which many parts are still lost , I'm just very sad that the Brazilian Portuguese version (1938) made by Dalva de Oliveira, is not in this video or any other, and probably never will be, as it was a timeless Dubbing that was a total loss, Everything indicates that the The only people who have copies of this dubbing are Disney itself, where they keep it locked up in super old safes, and it seems they have no interest in sharing this dubbing with anyone, or even starting a search for this dubbing, even I have faith that one day I will be able to listen to another small excerpt from this dubbing, but from everything I've read about this dubbing, I can only imagine that this great legacy of my country, which marked the beginning of a long journey of dubbing done in Brazil, is lost FOREVER

I realized that in the Latin Spanish dub of 1938 the dialogue "Goodbye" was missing, I wanted to tell you that, in case you didn't know, the dialogue is not lost, it has been on RUclips for more than 10 years.

Hey guess what, I uploaded Piglet’s Big Movie End Credits Disney+ which there were lots of end credits in different languages. The Lastdodo website does not sell any Dutch or Flemish VHS tapes and DVDs. You will also see Toy Story - 1996 VHS - NL upload by Jensen .J in Internet Archive

I loved this scene as a kid 😍😍😍 Funnily enough, now I can't stand the dub I watched it with at that time (Italian 1972), since now I prefer the '38 version by a long shot, it just fits the movie best IMO
I also have a question: do you happen to have the Polish 1961 dub from Cinderella? I wanted to do a video with the lines "Goodness me! It's getting late. Hurry up, dear. The ball can't wait. Have a good time. Dance, be gay. Now, off you go. You're on your way." and I'd love to include this version as well

In which year did the Persian Classic dub appear?

    • @LorcanWoosteralt
      @LorcanWoosteralt 2 года назад +1

Probably recorded either in the 1960s (similar to the Persian dubbing of The Jungle Book) or sometime in the 1970s.
