I agree. What if the person auditioning has dreamt of working with that particular artist their whole life
I wouldn't have a problem IF the contestant could override the block, but then why even have it.
Same, it's up to the contestants who their mentor gets to be.
Tamara is the new Tracy Chapman. Talented girl, but Craig Eddie.............he's the real deal. If you haven't heard him lately, you should.He's a star
The last chap had the best voice. It showed he won. Incredible talent.
I've always said it depends on your choice of Coach, some are better and are better teachers . And some contestants are very limited in their vocal range
In ur opinion which coaches are better at teaching?
Most of the coaching is done by other vocal coaches. The 4 celebrity coaches are only there for the camera shots

I enjoyed Hugo Marlo the most from those we've seen here. In general I prefer deep male voices, but he had something special in his voice that caught me 😊
It's a girl dressed as a boy. She was born female. Maybe that's why her voice is not deep. It's called cheating IMO.

The 2nd gentleman, I heard a mix of Bob Seager and Kenny Rogers. We all know how successful both of those men were/ are.
Stop the blocking of judges. Why have them there if they’re blocked. Unfair to contestants.

I saw Craig Eddie's father, and immediately thought 'Glasgow.' Turns out he's from Falkirk, which isn't far off! My, I'm good for an American.. - No, really, that's actually good, 'for an American.' 😁 Emerson Alexander does have a wonderful tone, here is the first I remember seeing him, but I'm struck by how much he would be able to do with that tone, while manipulating a fully-relaxed mouth and soft upper palate.

I’d like to see an episode or even a format change where the camera doesn’t show the contestant until after the first chair turns. That way we could judge the voice in the same “ blind” manner that the judges do.
… and maybe stop adding the audience screaming soundtrack to every opening verse, high note and soft ending, so we could actually hear the performance.
You can hear the judge hit button, so I guess keep eyes shut

Hmmmm…. These were very odd auditions…some had great voices, but the wrong song choices…. Some were just not using their voices the way they were designed…. There were a couple that were really good!

Blocking is selfish. Does not give the contestant a chance to decide from all chairs that ate turned. Maybe that blocked coach was the right choice! This is to help singers. It's their contest. Not the judges'.

I'm disgusted with Coaches blocking others this act should be banned. The Voice needs to upgrade their programme.
