Almost like representing womanhood with childhood. With Raoul, she was a girl. With Erik, she was a woman. And I preferred her with Erik because just like the symbolism, he was in love with the young woman while Raoul loved the young girl. I really don’t believe Raoul and Christine loved each other off of one another, I think they loved the memories they shared together.
