Dear all,
Thank you for everyone who supported us and him throughout this journey. We named him Courage, because through all the situations he was, including when finding him in critical condition, he never showed any fear.
We are sad to share with you that, unfortunately, Courage did not make it. He spent time in an isolated chamber with the vets monitoring him 24/7. However, his heart stopped during one night ... At first the medicine was working 50/50 and he got stable, but then the damage to his organs was severe and he was not able to recover.
He was fighting to the last minute. The doctors and us did everything we could as well. Parovirosis is extremely lethal to puppies and younger dogs and needs to be addressed as soon as any symptoms show up. Even if the dog is vaccinated, that doesn't matter. To all of you who have or are considering having dogs, please be aware of this fact. Signs that they might have Pvirosis are - lack of appetite for food and water, diahrea, vomiting and blood in the excrements.
Courage will forever be in all our hearts.
May he Rest in Peace 🙏🏻

At least he died clean and able to rest with a warm blanket surrounded by people who loved him not alone in the blistering heat in a dirty dumpster. May those who are responsible for neglecting a vulnerable animal be shown the same level of compassion when they are unable to fend for themselves. RIP to courage and his hero rescuers.

We adopted a challenge. When we got her she was so so tiny and very frail. Abused by previous owner..she had parvo very bad she stayed in vet hospital 2 weeks she almost died. But with a whole lot of prayers and visits that were allowed With God She Came thru..And This Little One Will To I pray and Pray For Angel Baby ..And Thank You For A Beautiful Rescue

Well I don't think they want to throw them away but likely because it was too expensive to keep them. It's not free you know. Food expense alone can be a lot plus vet costs are very expensive and if they get sick it can cost thousands of dollars. That is a lot of money. What the gov't should do is setup a shelter where owners can give up their pets if they can't afford to keep them.
There's going to be alot of mines and unexploded ordinance to clean up after this war. We just found a job for those people.
