Been fishing the feeder since hair curlers were used, i don't clip up and use maxima mono always point your rod downstream or with the tow on stillwater for best bite indication, I only fish the feeder and have won lots of matches on it
Great venue down the embankment, used to fish there all the time until we moved away, I’ve seen the river black with bream along there, great video mark👌
Been over 40 years since ive fished there.. wow has the landscape changed. Gone are the days of loading the bike up and getting the train from leagrave train station....
I grew up in Bedford there are some cracking roach on the weirs can be caught on silkweed up to 2 lb !! Bream have always been there on the embankment we used to catch 100lb bags heavy groundbaiting was used in those days 60's 70's . Stick float fishing on the back river stretch in winter caster fishign brilliant
Mark pollard is a brilliant all rounder, But I agree with the other comments about him being cack handed,he catches still though, He sounds like bob nudd too Great video mark.
There's a pay and display over the road with a traffic light crossing, very short walk to where Mark was. If you fishing further downstream there is parking available on both sides of the river, pay and display and all short walks.
Leeds has the river aire running thru the town centre bream barbel roach chub dace perch trout even salmon if youre lucky but like elsewhere leeds is a trap for motorist so parking or even getting in the town centre is like rocking horse shit
MK429AH is the postcode of the building - look it up on Google and you will see the river behind the college, that's where Mark fished. You can plan the journey off that info on Google maps.
Great stretch its a shame about the full navy of paddle boarders , canoes and rowers who seem to aim for me fishing. Also some dubious characters there at times. The joys of town centres i guess
Lovely video, Mark. Nice to see someone fishing a natural fishery for a change rather than a carp zoo. 😁
A man can’t have enough feeders 😊

Great video mark.
Brilliant
Great video Mark, I recall people saying there are good Bream shoals along that stretch, I should have fished it years ago, I only live in Kempston !
Great video - I’m intrigued with the left / right hand fishing ?
Great video ..What's the parking like ? I'm soon moving near there
Great video Mark. Where abouts did you park. Gonna give it a go.

What rods would u recommend for river fishing
Horizon pro distance depends on the distance and currents

Always looks so good down there but where do you park?
“There coming now!”
The most cack handed rod n line angler to watch, but a very good angler and brilliant on pole canal venues years ago
Casts left handed but reels right handed that’s why it looks weird
@@scottrankin7759 not exactly smooth or something youd teach
Is fishing from the embankment day ticket or season ticket ?
Neither. It's free.
Hiya, can you tell me the best place to park the car please…?
Many thanks
Along the embankment as it's nearly all pay and display, Mill Lane car park or the multi storey in town!
Title says River Ouse which is in York but this is the Great Ouse in Bedford.
We’re you fishing please how do you get there and can you park your car close ??
It's in Bedford river mate there a car park opposite
Hi hello I live in Birmingham how do I get to that river please thank you

Get on the A1 south mate
cast left/reel right 🤔
It's called the polly shuffle, rayeyr than cage the handle, he has his shuffle.... Unique to polly...
Gave up fishing the Embankment a few years ago after too many disagreements with arrogant rowers.
I only pay to fish for a day when i want to catch loads of big carp most places are full of fish people just dont fish um long enough to get on um
We did not hear 👂 what you said in the town Centre we’re sorry you said. It two fast
Strange style Mark, half right handed and half left handed.

Don't know who picks the music for your vids but it's bad. The fishing is good though.
