Lynn I'm commenting here just so you know you are my role model. You are so determined, so confident, so level-headed and so reality-based. As a woman more than often it is very discouraging to endeavor my dream, not to mention the age when you rose to fame. The way you are reminds me that it is doable. Some one has done it before, in a more difficult time!! You are a living inspiration. Glad that a part of my name is Ling similar to you. Hope I can share this inspiration as well. :-D

Matt Goulet I don't think Ann Curry was unfair in the interview i think she just brought up points that most people probably think. I think she admired Lynn all the while like most people who don't understand what Lynn does, probably thought her and the rest of rock climbers are a little crazy.

omg I felt the same way. I don't understand why people don't get there are other perspectives that are different from their own. They seemed so captivated in their thoughts and don't really appreciate other forms of life. I've been always fond of Ann Curry's charismatic personal essence, but it bothered me while watching the vid, she's being somewhat condescending to Lynn Hill whom I look up to.
