Bird management is a big deal at YVR; a bird-caused double engine failure could create, at the very least, a very expensive feet-wetting. At worst... Read all about it at YVR's Wildlife Management Program on their website. Interesting reading. Golden days indeed!

Looks like two of you were plane spotting today, lol. Three in the same view, very nice eye trapper. Your getting some very nice closeups of the cockpit bud, if I were a lip reader I could tell you what they are saying. What is that at 8:25, a bird trap? I'll say one thing buddy, you know when to zoom in a out at the right time, you've got great control with the camera. Is it possible to get to the other side where Edelweiss came in at 9:25 or are you only allowed to be where you are during these video's? Beautiful sunset man and another excellent video eye trapper. Happy to see the views and your subs on the rise, well deserved.

😄, thank you. I'm not quite sure what that cage is for but maybe it's for bird management. Edelweiss landed on 26L (south runway) there isn't a very good spot to see its arrival, due to multiple airplanes in the view and a building in the way when they roll out. Many thanks mate

Regarding AC Express (Jazz) at 4:49 Was that from a bird strike on the prop?
Also, at 13:33 What has caused the abrasion on the rudder? Neither of these looks very good. I didn't see any other incoming planes looking like those.
