I was pretty inspired by some of those soundfont song recreation videos since they seem really fun to make. I don't know if I'll post another one of these here but we'll see. Whether it was intentional, Brian being Yoshi is accurate because he was barely on Blue other than his backing vocals after Rivers had done all the guitar tracking, like how Yoshi also shows up only at the end of SM64
my first encounter with this song was at the annual Band Camp Talent(less) Show, where my 2 friends sang this song in front of our whole (albeit small) marching band. one of them played the guitar riff on alto sax, while they both sang the song beautifully and artistically. i remember everyone in the audience getting out their phone flashlights and swaying along. it was glorious.
I love how bowser’s model in 64 is so fucking ugly that it wasn’t edited on to the picture and the poster instead decided to edit his promotional render onto the image 💀
