Sorry, but it is hard to watch such a smart man wearing a mask with all the info we now have on the ineffectiveness of masks. Critical thinking is important especially considering the possible outcome of what he is discussing. Not sure if he is required to wear one because of University policy or has done so by choice but either way it detracted from the important explanation he is giving.
Some do it out of culture or courtesy. Some wear them because they are unwell. We wear them in the hospital, OR, ICU & other areas because they protect patients. Did you prefer your surgeon to not wear one during your surgery? They work.
@@Lisa_RNHealthHub If he's unwell he should stay at home instead of giving a lecture, if he's healthy he does not need a mask. It's not like he's doing surgery... And furthermore, most people think it's more courteous not to cover your face when you are speaking to them than to do so. In fact, seeing people wearing diapers on their faces makes me feel like I live in a f-ing South Park episode.
