Can you possibly get a pic of the Old Ladder 1 / Open Cab Mack Tiller that ran out of 3rd & Court from the late 1960's until early 1983 ?
It is stored in the Reading Area. The guys at 3rd & Court can tell you where it is at as one of the former Volly Captains of the Keystone got it restored
It would be great to see a Pic of that Old Horse on you site .That Old Horse saw much fire in Reading particularly in the period of the late 1960'e to the early 1970's when Reading was burning due to Civil Unrest .

It was a fire alarm the smoke wasnt smoke it was fog it was pretty foggy today

Matchbox Emergency services engine 1, ladder 1 ladder 3 engine 5 engine 9 rescue 1. 2 guys on each rig. Including the tillers. So 1 driver and a tiller man. I may missed some. Not much
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the city (reading, us county guys call it the city) Has a Tiller, which is Identified as a ladder, and an engine in each station and possibly a medic in each one, and there is a separate station that houses Rescue 1, Rescue 2, and Tower 1, which is a Midmount tower.
Jr. Firefighter 38 city is correct. They have 2 tillers. Ladder 1 and ladder 3. I believe ladder 2 is a reserve which is also a tiller. Ladder 1 Berks county is a tiller. Helps out at times.
