Prior to playing The Division, the last time I'd seen New York City was when I was 5 to 6 years old. This game was my second chance to explore the city, so I can't explain how personal this was for me. Not just seeing New York, but seeing this majestic, beautiful, complicated city in deep distress. I feel like New York is far MORE than just a city. It's a metaphor in so many ways. A legendary city too impossibly vast and brilliant to capture with words. The grandeur, the squalor, the people, the stories. This game really did capture the SPIRIT of New York City, and that is nothing short of miraculous.
broo fr, if they keep updating it, and maybe a bit newer interface when pressing ESC and new mods/gear and stuff, broooo the game it would be out of it
This brings back memories; I started playing the game again! One of my top games for sure. The atmosphere and setting is really addicting. I wish they could make a game identical to this setting and have more of a rpg mixed in
I think that a lot of people, like me, can't understand why Ubisoft management made such bad decisions. This can't even explain Ubisoft itself and they are still looking for answers to this day. All they have to do is just to read the comments under their videos. The Division 1 was one of the most successful games for Ubisoft in recent years. The sales figures were higher than expected and greatly enriched Ubisoft. But unfortunately they decided to develop a The Division 2, although it has to be said that what was not previously known was that many of the development team who worked on the first part were no longer there for the second part, attentive players, had immediately noticed the difference between the first and the second part, and it was also clear and obvious that it couldn't be the same developers who had developed the first part. It's a very long story and at the same time a very sad one. I don't think this franchise will ever recover from these bad decisions and in 2024 we'll see Ubisoft at the end of its business career. It's only a matter of time before the official announcement comes that Ubisoft no longer exists or that Ubisoft has either been bought out or is bankrupt forever.
There was so much done right with this game (in time, I suppose; wasn't there for the launch). Still make runs from time to time 'cause Cleaners blow up real good.
2024 and I still play this game…. No other game has such detail and effects 🔥
Ditto. It's THAT good. And nothing has even come close since then.
Favorite game of all time!!!

I really hate that they went straight to the second one and not expand the first

The people who run Ubisoft obviously haven't felt what WE did. What a tragic loss/miss for them.

I wish The Day Before wasn't Scam and became this kind of game with zombies.
Division 1 ❤
Obra maestra.
*Boy that COVID sure was something*
Can I play this on PS 5?
Yes
But there is no ps5 adaptation of it so it’s technically a ps4 game.
