I have an extremely similar horn it’s from the same time period it’s a selmer balanced action all silver just like that one. But mine was built while all of the pearls were out except the f# pearl. So all of my pearls are all black. It’s a beautiful horn and plays amazing. Im looking to bring my horn to you over the summer( I’m a college student and have to finish up my semester before I get my yearly checkup on it)

Very cool! Is the bis key black? I’d love to work on it. Thanks!

Very interesting video. That horn looked very pristine, given its age.

Thank you! He’s had it awhile and said it looked almost like new when he got it. It’s just tarnishing right now. Everything else is still in fantastic condition.

Speaking of these old French saxophone, do you have any experience with Olds Parisian made by Pierret?
    How about Beaugniers or Vito?

Those both play well when set up nicely however I love the French Beaugnier/ Vito saxophones. I own a few actually.

      @@Scottsmusiccave Thanks.
You mean that in general the Beaunier Vito is better than Pierret Olds?
I can find Olds Parisian that is lightly used, Vitos aren't that much expensive but in general can be more beaten up.
Which one of them have lesser blow resistance and better action?
It is unfortunate that I can't try either horns in person.
