- After resuming of monsoon session proceedings at 12:30 p.m. Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar filed his say over formalin issue. Parriker has stated that the wholesale fish market can be shifted to any other part of Goa. Parrikar said that the items which are not sold in Goa are exported, while the import of fish stabilises price of fish in Goan market.
CM has further stated that FDA needs to be strengthened with additional manpower and equipment. He has assured to put in place FDA mechanism in place before import ban is lifted.

yes I am for Alina Saldhana.... the entry of fishes should be banned not only for 15 days but increase the Ban until the issue is put in place...And the most important thing is that Rapid detection kits from the CIFT should be made available in Goa ...These Kits compromises of 25 strips of paper and each paper can detect Formaladehyde and ammonia present in the Fish(Only for big fishes) ..Foods like Makrels Sardine or prawns should be purchased only from Goa...dont buy it when it comes from outside Goa
Formalin in fish was started to give a boom to all pharmaceutical companies and private sector hospitals in goa.
This is one of the ways how people end up in hospital after consuming fish 🐟adulterated with formalin.
It is time to take strict action and test all fish before it ventures in the market for sale......

Sorry parklikar sir but this in India nobody follow rules they will take bride n allow trucks only solution is completely band of fish it is good for people health and grow state as finnacial coz more goan people will earn I thought u cared about goan people health it's ok if it is expensive rather having cancerrous food u telling u will put some proper mechanism but have u seen d trucks which carry fish they don't have proper refrigeration n trawler which go to catch fish also. Don't have proper refrigeration so what u will do about ur proper mechanism of there is no proper refrigeration band both import and export sir u had some disease recently have u thought may b route coz of ur disease may b coz of this cold hearthed bustard people who only care about to fill money in their bank I know u r 100 rite fish will b expensive but our goan people health will b good so anyone reading this message plz put this people behind bars who r selling this type of fish it's make me cry that among so many lakhs goan people only one fellow filled case against this death fish sellers they gave our goan people formallin n one person only filled case this I don't know what will happen to sweat goan people future will our future generations have prot health I doubt
