Great video and I love how there's no beating around the bush. Just straight into the list. No long intro or word vomit stalling for time. "You read the title, you know what you're here for, let's get into it" type deal and I appreciate that
I'm redownloading it. It was a broken mess wh n I bought it and I see it's now on PS5. I won't give them more money for the new version it should be $10 to upgrade it and no more.
Some more to consider: Alone in the Dark, Sinking City, Alan Wake, Deadly Premonition, Murdered: Soul Suspect, Frog Detective, What Remains of Edith Finch
Oh, you should definitely play Heavy Rain if you haven’t yet. It’s not a perfect game, but imo it’s really good. Has an interesting twist to the story too.
Thank you for this amazing list of games. I like these types of games that shares detective skills and mysteries of Sherlock. I came here hoping to find more games similar to Sherlock Holmes but unfortunately I played most of them. I can’t help but notice that the gaming industry is very poor in this category.
I was looking for something along these lines.. Kinda of an overlooked genre.. I have Heavy Rain on 2 systems.. And currently checking out Disco & LA Noire
Was this just in any order? Also was about to buy the on offer bundle of all three Sherlock games. Glad to see it wasn’t just 1 or 2 but all three of them on here😂
To maybe get some help. Would anyone happen to remember this one immersive game where you were someone that i think snuck into a company's office to access a computer, i think you had to find info of people who worked there to use it to uncover something? Kinda looked like an upcomming game called The Operator.
You don't seem to understand what a detective game is. A detective game is not a game where you play as a detective character, or a game that has a plot that revolves around solving a mystery. A detective game is a game that makes you (the player) do actual detective work: discover pieces of evidence for yourself, compare them and make actual deductions to progress through the game. It doesn't matter if you play as an actual detective or not. The two greatest detective games of all times are Return of The Obra Dinn and Outer Wilds, none of which appear in this list.
@@ColdBeer I already mentioned two amazing actual detective games, I was looking for more games like those when I stumbled with your video. The games you mention are all great games and some of them are kind of detectivish, but most of them aren't that. Some people in the comments mentioned Shadow of Doubt and by looking at the trailers it looks like an actual detective game. I will try that one, that comment was more helpful to me than your entire video.
Well, if you want people to read your comments, try to tone down the insults :)) AND yeah, I absolutely agree with you that Return of the Obra Dinn and Outer Wilds can be here as well. I just never thought about them. If I had thought - I would have added them, no doubts. In fact I played both and I love both of them. Even did a review about Outer Wilds few months ago: ruclips.net/video/emRw530my-M/видео.html
@@ColdBeer You're totally right. I didn't mean to be disrespectful or to belittle your video. It was very well done and all the games you recommend are amazing. In truth I still learnt about some games I didn't know such as Observer: System Redux and Tales of the Neon Sea; which I will try some day. I think I'm just kinda frustrated that there are no other games like Outer Wilds lol, that game really sticks.. Anyway, good luck with your channel man, and have a nice day.
Great list, 3 more:
-Shadow of Doubt
-The Case of the Golden Idol
-Return to Obra Dinn

Shadows of doubt is also amazing!
"Blacksad: Under the Skin" is a really great detective game that everyone seems to have forgotten about.
I'm redownloading it. It was a broken mess wh n I bought it and I see it's now on PS5.
I won't give them more money for the new version it should be $10 to upgrade it and no more.
Yup, still a buggy p.o.s.
@@allibababoo I agree that the upgrade should've been $10. I hope you enjoy the game :)
Tales of Noir is a MUST PLAY
Some more to consider: Alone in the Dark, Sinking City, Alan Wake, Deadly Premonition, Murdered: Soul Suspect, Frog Detective, What Remains of Edith Finch
Murdered soul suspect not being mentioned is a crime
Such underrated gem
Keeping in mind the nature of this video, there is something poetic in your comment :D
@@ColdBeer glad you noticed lol
Thoughts on Sherlock: crime and punishment?
Very good game
I preferred it over LA NOIRE
I’m nostalgic about it and with the steam sale I’m getting it might try the new ones first

Murder in the alps is pretty good as well
You should add Danganronpa!
U forgot the sinking city and vampyr
Judgment and Lost Judgment are great too

Hello there!
Finally, I'm msnage to watch some of your videos. Real life take to much time.

Good list CB, Sherlock Holmes The Awakened is on a discount on Epic Games 40% down.
Does Batman Arkham Asylum count?
Well, technically yeah :)
Where's Shadows of Doubt
Deadly Premonition
Detroit as well
I’m still waiting for a Columbo game
Google sent me to "Columbo drinking game" xD Although it's in a mood with this channel, but I doubt you had that one in mind
@@ColdBeer haha, sounds good!! At the moment Columbo the PC game is still a figment of my imagination unfortunately
Murder in Yangtze river
NOTICE ME!
But why?
No Return of the Obra Din???
Sure, it could be here, great game.

I stopped reading after "you don't seem to understand" :D Internet is filled with dudes who know better but do nothing. Welcome to their club.

hi
Title says 16, list has 15. Either you're missing one or need to change the title...
I never actually counted, so my educated guess was close enough :)
I will let it be as it is.
16 is random@@ColdBeer
