Interesting that the AI actually made your kids draw more. I've been quite apprehensive about showing it to mine because I'm afraid they'd become too dependant on it and not actually exercise their own creativity.
It's not so much that I expect them to become great artists or seek careers in it in the future, but I get the feeling that activities like drawing are instrumental in developing their general imagination and creativity which would be important in all areas of their life.
You have given me reason to rethink my stance and introduce it to them in atleast a limited way.
Thanks! We don't ALWAYS incorporate AI into their drawings, but it does allow me to explain different art mediums, styles, artists etc.
We also go through the four rolls and talk about what the AI did that they liked and other things they didn't like.
Really expands their minds a bit! They see me do graphic design for my side hustle and I have been showing my 7 year old a bit but most of their work is crayon or marker or watercolor to paper.
Certainly ways to softly include it so it doesn't over take their brains like other technology... or how MJ has sucked me in LOL

Midjourney is fascinating but after a brief period of free use, customers must pay to access the service. I've just started experimenting with Blue Willow, and I'm amazed. What's your thought about BW?
I did a video on BW when it came out. I need to do an updated one because it has come a long way! Personally all of the AI text to image are tools for me. I've really been enjoying nightcafe a lot too

Great illustrations. There are so many styles and artists to choose from. Where did you obtain your list, please?
Thanks Andrew! Do you mean the lists of the prompts used during the video? I just made those up. I'm happy to start providing the simple prompts in google sheets or docs if you feel it is beneficial
@@ShootingStarSVG Thanks for the reply. Actually, I meant genres like patchwork, mosaic and some of the artists you mentioned, I believe. There are sites around but wondered if you had a good source that goes with the kid's artwork
@Andrew Clark ah gotcha yeah those just came from my brain of things I like to look at and ideas my daughter threw around. The words in the images were the prompts used in MJ
