The whole cape thing wasn't anywhere in the G1 cartoon that I know of; seems iGear pulled a move that Takara themselves would later enjoy doing, and dropped some super obscure reference. That cape hails from some super obscure artwork for Japan's take on Generation 2 (they like to call it "G-2"), which shows Prime & Megs in capes. Story wise, the Autobots and Decepticons FINALLY came to peace (though why Optimus & Megatron are in their original G1 bodies instead of Star Convoy & Ultra Megatron from "Battlestars: Return of Convoy" is anybody's guess), with Prime & Megs as co-leaders. Things were great until somebody - I think it was humans, idk - killed some random critter that Megs had supposedly befriended (and was REALLY tight with, like Prime & Ironhide)...that drove Megs over the edge, so he started the war all over again. Granted, I could've just checked TF-Wiki, but I ain't feel like it.🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️
i so want this figure. i believe its better then the bigger version. although, it its made entirely of plastic, it does come with alot of extras. the matrix dosn't light up, but i can overlook that. i definitly want this. great video :)
