it is a legitimate strategy to intentionally hold back your skill level and get a weaker world record, and keep getting consecutive world records for monetary gain/fame. some groups of people intentionally do this to create tension and competition, even though it is fake.

WRs by old players in ctr (ps1) get broken in recent years. I feel sad for the old players who don't have the energy to reclaim their wr title, but it is inevitable in a competitive world where new/younger players will break records
the walls on this game are all different, the lamp will never take your fire away, and the last section you can go up the wall quite a bit before it takes it from you
are you friend with current Tiny Arena world record holder ? because no video. if you are not friend with him, probably becase he doesnt want people to know the strat.

My lap 3 was a .89 on the ghost, the same one thats shown afterwards. I was under pressure to not go too tight on lamp and instead just went too wide
