Fantastic video Carol!!! I love these fold out journals and they're perfect for December...places to put lists, receipts, recipes, Christmas memories for the year....Thank you!!! Very inspiring....I'm going to go dig around my stash and see what I got!!! xo
I tried several pairs of small scissors, but returned them all, UNTIL I bought the "Tim Holtz Small Scissors - 5 Inch Mini Snips with Micro Serrated Blade - Craft Tool for Cutting Paper, Fabric, and Sewing - Titanium with Black Comfort Grip Handles." I just LOVE them. They're especially great for fussy cutting. The point is very sharp and the handles are roomy. (Other ones I tried had too small handles.) I highly recommend them! - Donna in Illinois. ❤
Carol, this is the best December daily I have seen in a long time. It's no muss, no fuss and will have to create one for myself. LOVE it all and you always make it look so easy. Your papers are adorabe as well. Hugs, gf 🩷🩷🩷 xo
Carol, I just love how you create, I am going to try your way with the accordion journal, it's easier. Love the stories too, I always look forward to your crafting hour, highlight of my day, thank you for sharing, enjoy your weekend, big hugs Carol.
I love the way you made this little journal. Looks so much easier then the way others have done it. I might even try one some day. Beautifully done!💕💕💕
Yesterday was the first day it truly felt like fall and we were all so excited! A Winnie-the-pooh blustery day - I had to wear a sweater and coat! But, I do love chilly weather. I bet fall is pretty where you are. Anyway - Love watching you and listening to you. You have the best technique! I've tried to lay down glue like you, but I'm hopeless...
Gidday, Carol. I have to let you know you have been keeping me company on my night shift. I started this concertina journal. It's been a wonderful time. Many a laugh. I will be finishing this soon. I got a bit overwhelmed with my current project. This is so fun and easy. ❤❤❤❤. I'm now off to have a cuppa. 😊
Love love the way you have put this together, what a cute way to be able to document one day at a time in December. Also love the idea of being able to add envelopes or whatever on the inside. Can’t wait to see what else you do with this.
I love my Tim Holtz scissors! They really help my hands stand up to a ton of fussy cutting! Love these papers! I need another journal kit like a hole in the head but…who cares! Thanks for sharing this!
Oh Carol! I love your accordion journal! I've made a couple before and they are fun to work in because each page is different! Thank you for the mention friend! And I'm glad you will do your best to come along. I hope I can as well, lol! Hugs!🥰🥰
The Tim Holz scissors are wonderful and definitely worth the money. I have both sizes and use them almost exclusively. I love this kind of journal. So versatile! Your work is amazing as always.
The Tim Holtz scissors are great! I have two sets…one for my workshop and the other for upstairs. My hands are arthritic and they are easy on the hands. Keep them sharp by cutting thru sandpaper now and again. ChristinesJournals
Carol, I really like this never-ending journal. I too have a hard time with prompts, I think it's because I take them to literal and my brain can't move on from that. I will definitely give this one a try. Thank you so much for the inspiration.
I love this Carol! It looks so quick and easy and yet looks so nice! I haven’t crafted in about a month…I just haven’t felt like it. This is making me want to craft again. 😊❤ Tammie
Carol, I have them and I like them and they cut any and everything. I misplaced the one I use most use and bought another pair. Of course I found the lost ones but kept the new pair too. I want to do a Dec. daily and I have these boxes. I’ll check Nancy’s prompts. I love watching you and missed you when you were on Vacation.
@ the most important thing to consider is the type of handle. If you have hand issues, the open handle is easier on the hand to use. I also think with the long scissor the open handle is easier to veer off line when cutting for me. I usually use the closed handle scissor when I’m cutting a longer straight line because of the better control for me. I use the open handle one for shorter straight edges because there is less chance of veering off. I hope that makes sense for you.
If you don't mind your scissors to have serrated edges, then you'll like them. I have a pair of the small ones and I really don't like the serration. Such an adorable little journal!!!! 😍🥰 Hugs
Gosh Carol this is just so cool,I have never made one of these type of journal. I think I will try it. I am still working with Amy’s kit so I need to get going. Thanks for a great idea. 🌴💕
Love the journal! I also don’t like the cold. I do use Tim Holtz sizers they are great! I have arthritis in my hands and the flexible handles are great.Have a great day.
Adorable Carol I think I will attempt one can’t promise because I am very clumsy with making accordion journals. But you make it so simple that I might try it
Hay Carol, i have even 2 sets from Tim Holtz, 😂 and they are absolutely really, really, really Great! Specially when you have problems with your hands. like reumatic or something else... I have both but don’t like the small ones because of serrated edge and the handles are so big they rub on my thumb and finger. I’ve gone back to my little cheap and cheerful pair! Might be worth seeing if someone could lend you a pair of each and then you could see how you get on with them . They are a lot of money to only use once!
