Did Drew Brees have a low ceiling because he wasn't 6'5 240 and threw like Justin Herbert? The disrespect is real.
Nix is quite well rated imo. I’ve watched a couple of his games and for as old and experienced as he should be, he’s incredibly underwhelming at times. He’s got a serviceable arm and solid decision making but he’s not a top 10 talent at all. Just look at the Bengals game as a perfect instance.

@@alsitair Yeah, Caleb's had promise when he's been given enough space to get into a rhythm, and JD should absolutely be an A+. Y'all need to double down on the line next year, get yourself a decent HC / OC, and Caleb could easily bounce back. I mean, look at Sam Darnold with the vikings. There are probably more players in the league that, given the right shot, could be a solid starter... but there aren't that many teams with the right combination of pieces and coaching. He has shown flashes but I’d give him a B. Sometimes his vision down the field is horrible and Maye has been way better even with a worse o line and horrible receiver corps.
@Steelerssuperbowl yeah I suppose that's fair. That said, some play styles are better suited for playing with a bad line than others. I'd think Caleb's scrambling would be decent for it, but Drake maye's always been pretty good at performing in the face of pass rush and is surprisingly adept at picking up yards with his legs. Might be that he's better suited to those conditions than Caleb. Hard to say until we see them play a few more years, hopefully under better conditions.
Not sure what you're talking about there. Caleb looks every bit a bust so far and has no accuracy, while Daniels already has his team in the playoffs with Nix and Penix possibly set to join him on Sunday. The Odunze pick looks pretty bad as well, with Thomas Jr. and Bowers and perhaps McConkey clearly being better receivers. Xavier Worthy should be a B. The difference between his play the first half of the season compared to the second half is night and day. He's also popped off the last two games since Hollywood Brown came back, now he can finally play the role the Chiefs drafted him to play.
If Fashanu is an A- then Alt has to be an A+. He's gone against the best pass rushers in the league and hasn't given up more than 2 pressures in any game.
Yeah, people tend to devalue tight ends, but most people would have told you he was a generational talent at tight end. They just get distracted with bigger needs like QB, or with the flash of a WR talent. The other thing is a you can get good tight ends all through the first few rounds of the draft at a fairly good rate (though they often take some time to cook into good tight ends), but that discounts the potential of immediately hitting an absolute homerun like Bowers.
Terrion arnold would have been the same level as quinyon mitchell or cooper dejean has been IF the lions weren’t so desperate for corner and just put him right away an alternating player between cb1 and cb2. Didn’t help that he played cb1 more than half of the season because the corner room was decimated, with emmanuel mosley, ennis rakestraw, and CD3 all injured. He has been improving since his debut and his pi calls has been reduced. If he gets help from CD3 he will probably be one of the top cb2s in the league with ELITE run support.
@Guya13 he doesn’t, for someone picked 12th in the draft behind 4 other qb’s he’s looked very capable, in the pocket looks mostly good, hes comfortable running with it and his decision making has improved, he has the right coaching staff in Denver to get the best out of him he’ll be a good qb for years to come imo
Nix against the bengals, threw a 66 yard td (in the air) this is (so far) the longest completed pass in the 2024-25 season. I thought nix had a noodle arm.
People keep saying he doesn't have the skills because he can't throw a football 70yards on his knees. AS if you need to do that a lot in the NFL. Nix can throw a fast ball 50 yards down the field. I would rather have a smart, hard working, QB than an "athlete" like Jamarcus Russell.
worthy rating is harsh imo he leads all rookies with total tds and chiefs offense is complex like rashee rice he is upping his production late in the season he is going to be an A grade by next year but for this year a B is fair
How is a 4.5 40 guy with some good wheels on him and a good scrambler not mobile at all in Penix? Also the knock on him people keeping bringing up about his age makes no sense when Bo Nix is older and Jayden Daniels is the same age. All 3 are within 6 months of each other and are 24.
@@SGscouts watching tape > looking up stat lines. Rodger’s is one of the most mobile qb’s in his prime and never put up significant rushing yards. That’s also ignoring the fact sacks are negative rushing yards in college

@TheodoreKoch-k7n Idt you know how pff grades coverage, just see number say number, he's only allowed a reception on 6.5% of snaps without much safety help and a system that doesn't blitz much. Just watch a lick of his tape. Also pff has Denzel ward ranked 52nd when he's been top 3 this year
Still find it crazy how Dallas Turner, the pre-draft best defensive player, hasn't done much because the team that drafted him just so happened to get the two NFC pro bowl edges and get 8-9 wins over expected
It’s so interesting with the Penix pick. If they never had gotten Penix they would’ve been stuck with Cousins and would have been stuck in the middle of the 1st round. Instead them picking Penix to learn for the year was super beneficial for them long term. Goes to show that fans really don’t know anything until they see it for themselves

Love this content. Would like if their position and college were added. Disagree strongly with Arnold. He has done a 180 in the last several weeks. Being in every play for a dismantled defense, I would say he’s a solid B.
Same, I think he isn’t getting enough credit because the lions are lining him up against WR1 pretty frequently and the lions have very limited pass rush.
i’m a little bit confused on your description of bo nix. what physical tools is he lacking? what elite traits does he not have that drake maye or jayden daniel’s have?
I feel like you're overvaluing pure physical traits. Bo Nix should be at least an A-, I feel like the whole low ceiling concept is based on an assumption that he already sort of proved wrong. The Broncos have an atrocious running game, despite their excellent line, which means they have heavily leaned on Bo Nix, who has been great in that situation.
Sorry but that Chop Robinson grade is way to low....he has a top 5 passrush win rate and 6 sacks in 8 games since he started getting playing time. Speed and Bend ...his ceiling is really high.
Joe Alt's tendencies in my opinion are very similar to 4x All Pro and Future HOFer Lane Johnson. Johnson has never been known for his insane power or crazy speed or anything. Instead he gets off the ball quick and can REDIRECT POWER. For Tackles in the NFL that is the most important thing, Lane is known for being able to push the shoulder pads of someone bull rushing up which strips away all power and is very dominant in the hand fighting game. Being able to easily swipe down or snatch the long arm from the defensive end. All this to say on tape I notice the exact same power redirection from Joe Alt. And this is not just against nobody's, but instead against top pass rushers in the league like Maxx Crosby. There is no rookie tackle in the NFL who won't struggle a little bit, and especially getting flipped to the other side of the line makes a big difference. No doubt in my mind that Alt will be a 4-5 time All Pro at least with 8 ish Pro Bowls.
1:08 i would tell you his wr core is kinda overrated, keenan allen is a glorified te atp bc he can’t separate unless he is running some special nuanced route, rome odunze is being misused due to bad scheme, dj moore has the route running skills of deebo samuel and they use him as a wr1 and he rlly isn’t more like a wr2 bc he struggles to separate
PFF ranked the Broncos 32/32 on whole roster. They shit on their line all year long, now all of a sudden the same line that got Russell WIlson sacked 60 times last year has 20 sacks on the year and they are "the best" all of a sudden.. swear nothing to do with Bo Nix being amazing in the pocket. Nothing at all. The Bo Nix hate is so fucking forced. I'll never take you serious again. Ever.

There is a massive argument that Bowers should have been the first skill position drafted. He's a monster.
Washington commanders made an S tier pick
No real bears fans are disappointed in caleb. Its pretty obvious hes our guy
Crazy harsh on Bo Nix, watch some Broncos games he’s good
@@eeleye7075 concur. Watching the games is better than looking at some stats.
he unironically looks worse if you watch and analyze his film
@Guya13 he doesn’t, for someone picked 12th in the draft behind 4 other qb’s he’s looked very capable, in the pocket looks mostly good, hes comfortable running with it and his decision making has improved, he has the right coaching staff in Denver to get the best out of him he’ll be a good qb for years to come imo
Nix against the bengals, threw a 66 yard td (in the air) this is (so far) the longest completed pass in the 2024-25 season. I thought nix had a noodle arm.
Yo miss Ricky pearsall
Bro thats what im saying
Nix may not have the talent to be a top 10 qb, but with a better receiving room in a few years, I can see payton making him great
People keep saying he doesn't have the skills because he can't throw a football 70yards on his knees. AS if you need to do that a lot in the NFL. Nix can throw a fast ball 50 yards down the field. I would rather have a smart, hard working, QB than an "athlete" like Jamarcus Russell.
@@theendistheend123 thats not why people think Nix cant vbe a top 10 qb lmaoooooo
Yall please stay on that side next season once Caleb gets a real coach
Heard Ben Johnson might coach em.
Bro he hasn't played good he might do good next season but we have seen he's has been at best okay
3300 yards 19tds 5 ints is more than okay@Wuru382
Guy has overthrown countless wide open receivers
@Wuru382 caleb has more 300 yards passing games then any rookie qb this season with 3 of em and hasnt thrown a pick since oct 13 stop hating
worthy rating is harsh imo he leads all rookies with total tds and chiefs offense is complex like rashee rice he is upping his production late in the season he is going to be an A grade by next year but for this year a B is fair
Arnold is a C+
he’s improved and played well vs Minnesota
How is a 4.5 40 guy with some good wheels on him and a good scrambler not mobile at all in Penix? Also the knock on him people keeping bringing up about his age makes no sense when Bo Nix is older and Jayden Daniels is the same age. All 3 are within 6 months of each other and are 24.
He’s clocked at 4.46. Dude has some serious wheels, he’s just a pass first guy. Pretty bad takes across the board on him imo
He had like 250 rushing yards in 6 college seasons
@@SGscouts watching tape > looking up stat lines. Rodger’s is one of the most mobile qb’s in his prime and never put up significant rushing yards. That’s also ignoring the fact sacks are negative rushing yards in college
Because he gets broken easily so the only scrambling he should do is to get out of the pocket and throw the ball away
I have a whole scouting breakdown vid on him. 4.46 is a nice 40 time but he doesn’t really use that on the field at all
Quinyon is damn well a+ dude has been elite not as a rookie just as a corner, they run a lot of match to the outside so he plays a lot of 1 on 1 deep, its crazy it took this long for em to be beat deep and its by an elite deep threat too in terry so ian gon hold it against em, still mirrors dudes like taskmaster
He ain’t elite, he is ranked 32nd cb according to pff
@TheodoreKoch-k7n Idt you know how pff grades coverage, just see number say number, he's only allowed a reception on 6.5% of snaps without much safety help and a system that doesn't blitz much. Just watch a lick of his tape.
Also pff has Denzel ward ranked 52nd when he's been top 3 this year
Still find it crazy how Dallas Turner, the pre-draft best defensive player, hasn't done much because the team that drafted him just so happened to get the two NFC pro bowl edges and get 8-9 wins over expected
Bo should definitely be an A
It’s so interesting with the Penix pick. If they never had gotten Penix they would’ve been stuck with Cousins and would have been stuck in the middle of the 1st round. Instead them picking Penix to learn for the year was super beneficial for them long term. Goes to show that fans really don’t know anything until they see it for themselves
I lost interest at the Bo Disrespect.. yall need to just admit you were all wrong about him. Its JD, BO, Penix, Maye and Spencer Rattler in this draft. The other QBs are certified Bust
Bo Nix not being elite is laughable, dude has way more arm talent than people want to admit and is also faster than the majority of starting qbs...he WILL be top 10 to even top 5 with his abilities just needs to work on reads and decision making
Bears fan here; I’m very happy with Caleb. I think Jayden is also a stud. It was a great QB class. In a year or two, you’ll see what I’m talking about.
Penix is actually athletic
Worthy is following the slow ramp up for rookie WR under Reid . Prob not of an incomplete pending how he looks in the playoffs
How is Jayden Daniels not an “A+”?
That was my thought. No way you start with A and end with that after this year.
So glad the rams picked Verse. I was genuinely hoping Latu or Turner fell to us but now I'm really glad the draft went the way it did
The pick really could not have been any better. Pairing him with Fiske too was a brilliant move.
How can you say Bo Nix will never be a top 10 QB in the league?
This class was absolutely loaded with talent, once in a decade
i’m a little bit confused on your description of bo nix. what physical tools is he lacking? what elite traits does he not have that drake maye or jayden daniel’s have?
I feel like you're overvaluing pure physical traits. Bo Nix should be at least an A-, I feel like the whole low ceiling concept is based on an assumption that he already sort of proved wrong. The Broncos have an atrocious running game, despite their excellent line, which means they have heavily leaned on Bo Nix, who has been great in that situation.
Love this guy
Imagine how amazing Nabers would be if he had halfway decent QB play.
Fr nabers is the reason I watch New York games and I’m a bengals fan
worthy is gonna be great it’s at least a b+
No doubt in my mind that Alt will be a 4-5 time All Pro at least with 8 ish Pro Bowls.
bro the brockbowers hairline is wild
Compared to what the Bucs dealt with last year, Graham Barton has been a massive improvement
The Caleb Slander is insane. He’s played really well despite having the worst interior oline in the league
B- was generous. Caleb has massively disappointed and is to blame for a high % of the sacks. As a Packers fan, I am very thankful they drafted him
The reason he’s taken so many sacks is because the o line is incredibly bad
I think something that has made Maye a great fit for the post Brady Patriots is his confidence.
Quick note on Bryon Murphy, he’s been forced to play Psuedo-nose tackle all season so his stats given that are pretty damn good
lol. Bo Nix has played exceedingly well and gets a regrade of B+. Michael Penix has played 1 game and got a regrade of B-. Make it make sense.
1:08 i would tell you his wr core is kinda overrated, keenan allen is a glorified te atp bc he can’t separate unless he is running some special nuanced route, rome odunze is being misused due to bad scheme, dj moore has the route running skills of deebo samuel and they use him as a wr1 and he rlly isn’t more like a wr2 bc he struggles to separate
rome odunze even though is 3rd option somehow has more yards than keenan allen and manage to rack up 700 yards.
Joe Alt is an "A" and Nabers has been a "B+." Nabers has some crucial drops.
Ever.
100% agree on mcconkey over legette, both jonathon mingo and jalen coker can burn deep and bryce with ladd is basically like re-rolling on a younger adam theilan
Suggestion: Do top 32 picks from this past year’s draft after 1 year
lol Bo Nix has a low ceiling? Why?
White????
he has no elite traits and he hasn't shown any since being a nfl qb
@@Guya13Tell me what “elite” traits he doesn’t posses?
@@garf752 just about all of em he doesn't have a great let alone elite arm and plz don't come back to me with that one throw in the Bengal's game cause its just gonna tell me you think having a strong arm only means how far you can throw, his pocket presence isn't good his footwork isn't it his accuracy and precision isn't there he's not great at reading defenses he's not elite at going through his reads not that smart mechanics are whatever, his rushing ability isn't elite and he's ok when a play breaks down however that happens mainly cause he's running outta clean pockets also i feel like a lot of these will be worse when he no longer has the best pass blocking line in the league
Worthy and chiefs disrespect what did I expect lmao. Best wr that was left. Been better than Keon, Ricky, and Adoni lmfao he's also having a rashee rice type of year. He gets open and catches the ball so biasedness has made these grades stupid
You should go back and watch Chop Robinson. After a slow start, he's been tearing it up and looks to be a big asset next year and beyond. He deserves a B+. I grade your video as a D-
The no hairline comment on Bowers is insane lmaoo
Bo nix should be an A- wtf
it’s hard for me as a bears fan to say caleb or rome have been disappointing when you have the second cheapest offensive line to get what you paid for a dogshit offensive line
Nothing but facts🔥🔥
Bo Nix not having top 10 potential is an absolutely horrendous take He has intangibles such as above average arm strength and above average mobility
This video is so bad 😭
this guy doesnt even know what picks the guys where taken at, box score watcher, and the kind of fan who self proclaims himself as a ball knower.
Joe alt not overly dominant or physical? You don’t know what you’re talking about, he was rag dolling Max Crosby his first game in the league. It’s ok if you don’t watch the chargers, but don’t lie. Kids a beast.
Bro how are you going to give Quinyon an A-? Oh I see. You were super high on Wiggins and had him as CB1, can't go putting Quinyon above him now even though it's completely obvious.
The thing with marv is now Jeremiah smith is more hyped than he was and probably better too
There are certain Bears fans calling Rome a bust for reasons and say others performances are exceptional for reasons
Joe Alt is A+ actually
Your grade of Worthy is not only stupid it’s lazy Worthy had 9 tds and his stats are nearly identical to Rc tyreke hill . Worthy is on a championship team with way more options than the other wr selected his season stats may not set records but he will have more rings and win more than anyone he was picked ahead of in the draft
Alt is an A+, and he is actually an all pro talent, unfortunately he’s got lane Johnson and peneii sewel in front of him. Alt is having a better rookie season than either of those players and has switched sides more seamlessly than sewell. As soon as Johnson retires Alt is at least 2nd team, AP, and sewell could also be overtaken.
A- for quionyon is crazy, he’s an easy a+
Am I the only one who thinks Nix has been a good playmaker this year?
Can you do the second round rookies? I feel like there’s some notable goons in there
Bro worthy has the most tds of all wr rookies and 7th in yards and you give him that grade.
did you forget ab the goat rookie BTJ XD. Im not a jags fan but man I wish he was a WR for the bucs. (9 TDs to Worthys 6 TDs)
