Would you say that this is good in terms of price to performance? Been thinking of getting one since its a plug and play solution and I'm not the type of person that adjusts the settings of my headset so the lack of ghub support shouldn't be and issue.

Really good review! I recently got my hands on the headset and LOVE the build quality and weight. I feel way to many companies try to make their product feel "premium" instead of choosing the right material for the job.
I just have one issue. At lower volume levels, there is a ton of distortion. The issue can be reliable reproduced by playing a sine wave below 440 hz at low volumes. It sounds like a 70s carton ray gun instead of a clear tone. I'm trying to figure out if this is a problem with unit or the headset in general. Have you noticed any distortion or static?

I have the Logitech G733 headset for gaming, but during my Zoom calls I would get a lot of questions like "Are you a gamer?". It just looks unprofessional even with the RGB turned off. I opted to get the G435 and I was really impressed with the quality for the price! Yea it's not the best, but not having a boom arm for the mic and the low key aesthetic make it a perfect headset for working form home. Not to mention the super long battery life. I love it!

If you want for serious sesion of games to hear everything they are not the best but if you want a versatile and casual go for it. Not too dissimilar likely. Mic is likely a little nicer sounding on the 332 as its a wired variant of the 733. The 435 is still my daily driver for ease of use and comfort. I haven't had hands on with the 332, but I would anticipate it to be similar to the 733 which is very similar to the 435 already.

They can be plugged in charging, but they need the dongle also plugged in to your device to use. (I'll confirm this when I get back to them for you, but thats how the 733s work also, can charge simultaneously as well as be used with the dongle inserted. They don't transmit/receive over the USB though).

Wireless headsets are different from wired headsets in terms of mics to me (at least in my experience) I tend to think of them differently from wired counterparts (because they are). So far good higher quality wireless rests on the deeper pocket end of the spectrum in my experience.

78 yr old non-gamer here. Got it working via bluetooth by going to settings on my Google chromebook. Make sure you have the accompanying dongle plugged in to the usb connection on your android chromebook. I assume it works the same on Windows. I hit the time indication in the lower right screen on my chromebook shelf, then clicked on the gear symbol appearing on top of the chromebook screen, opened settings, found bluetooth, then found pairing, G435 was not listed there, however, pressed and held the headset's green lit top button for 3 seconds until it flashed blue, and "G435" appeared on the chromebook screen. Clicked on it and it finally paired, hooray! Couldn't get it to work wirelessly without using bluetooth and the dongle. There are other functions too but the gamers blow through or skip over them while talking mostly about how pretty the headset is. If you delay using the headset for any length of time it automatically shuts off to preserve power but we don't have to set the headset up again, just power it back on. It is an awesome headset. Very comfortable all day even on my ginormously thick head.

    • @andrewzanas9387

Just tried resetting it for wireless without the dongle and it worked. Not only that but it now has twice the volume it did on bluetooth at 100%.

I actually hate this headset. Keeps muting or losing connection to computer on random timings. Also having to use weird solution to fix these problems. Also the volume keeps changing between good and suddenly being super low audio, even on full volume. Also have had feedback from friends that the mic sometimes have a lot of background noise. This headset have seriously made me rage at several times. I will burn it when my new headset arrives. Having that said, when it work like it should it's a 4/5. The keyboards not old, just a louder mechanical keyboard. If you're using Discord, or something built in from your GPU manufacturer (like Nvidia RTX Voice or AMD Suppression) they do a great job at detracting from sound. When I type I use raw recording and no passive filters to give people an idea (hopefully) of what raw sounds like pre-3rd party sound altering.

I'm looking for a lightweight and comfortable wireless headset that are cheap with a good battery life. I hate the thought of giving Logitech my money, but it seems like my options are slim for my needs. My suggestion is maybe buy an other pair and return the old ones in the box to the store. Logitech warranty department, treats people like someone they can take advantage of. I don't know if it was because I purchased a gaming headset and they just assumed I was some kid or what, but I think the fact they were a gaming headset they assumed they can get away with ripping off their customers.
