Thank you! I recently received a strange update, I lost about 8gb of data, the machine went restarting, but fell into a infinite loop, then I force restarted the machine, and I cant find any updates, the machine booted up as usual, only now I had 8gb less memory. This frustrated me, since I disabled all updates to my knowledge, and when I checked the update menu, it was all the same, no updates were downloaded or installed and it asked me to manually update. I'm afraid that the update services are not used for updates, but for government spying software instead .. because if you think about it, its a backdoor to your system. And what makes it very confusing is that I all ready disabled it, but it still downloaded 8gb of data.
The only folder I can think of is WinSxS, because that weights about the same.
