WOW! When I hear them singing, it makes me think about my roots. My great grand parents, great aunts and uncles from how for we have came as African americans. It really moves me, They didn't need music for the spirit of GOD to come in, Just hand clapping and foot stomping. But now we are caught up on who can sing better by riffs and runs, instruments, and mega churches. We really need to go back when it comes to our religion,

The first time I heard baptist singing like this I was so amaze. My church used to travel down to ridgeway SC that was our late overseer hometown church and that's the way they used to sing and I love it every since I heard them singing it. Thanks for posting the words.

"Weep like a Willow, Moan like a dove, You can't get to heaven, Lest you go by love"..that line in particular has been stuck with me for weeks now! Truly, God is heard in this song!

I hate the video doesn't capture the move of God!!! This really made me think of the songs our ancestors sung in the field and at church to encourage themselves!!! Amazing!
