    Flooding like this is when healthy , wide riparian areas all along ALL our rivers/streams with lots of native trees, bushes, and grasses helps slow flood waters and absorb pollution. So much of our wet lands that act as sponges have been developed over or drained to farm.

    Honestly this seems good to me, the water is much needed for the South West of the country. As long as it is managed appropriately, this can have a positive effect on the drought.

      This event is nowhere near the southwest. The water ends up in the gulf of Mexico.

    Where is this? Yellowstone River does not go through Lamar Valley. Is it Hayden Valley? Part of Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone? Or Tower Roosevelt to North Entrance?

      @@Mike-hr6jz These pics are not in the park. you can tell by all the buildings along the river. The spot you want to see is verboten to drones. If someone does it they may want to keep the video private.

      @@wadestanton wrong they do show in the park I’ve been there I recognize several of those places that’s the north gate there in MontanaFor a lot of it but they go into the park you’re wrong they let thousands of Tourists take pictures and with a permit you can use your drone you need to study the rules a little better

      @@Mike-hr6jz Drones have been banned from national parks since 2014 due to multiple incidents that occurred in parks throughout the United States.
      Yes, it is perfectly legal to fly your drone recreationally over Yellowstone national park as long as you do not take off or land within the park.
