There’s a rocky sort of cliff next to the outer slide and I almost flew off the final turn onto the cliff. Do not ride unless you are under 250pounds. That is definitely one where you should be weighed but last time I visited they didn’t. Also findunker drop. Roughest slide iv been on. Each joint felt like a wipe.
That place really has some extremely classic slides like the Splashdown and Raging River. I can really see how European waterparks, especially in the nordics designed their own wild river slides in a similar way, and even how manufacturers like Klarer and Aquarena might have taken design cues from these rides when making their own crazy river slide models.
Man you are absolutely right this is the best water park I live in Atlanta and I went for the first time and they have so many water slides and the beach area is just beautiful and the longboard walk is awesome it feels like you are in Florida trust me the water slides here are absolutely On Point. And there are water slides hidden in different areas all over the park and a beautiful wave pool and plenty of geat food spots to eat as well as ice cream spots and lemonade stands upscale restaurants to actually sit down and eat in bottom line awesome.👍
I've been to this waterpark before. This is the best one I have been to yet!! Last time I was here, the four new slides weren't there, but I am ABSOLUTELY looking forward to riding them, especially Serpentine Storm. Anyways, my favorite ride from here (so far) is Typhoon. I just love its basic yet thrilling experience from start to finish. Blackout and Splash Down are close seconds in my opinion. My least favorite ride is Racing Waters. I don't think it's bad, but I think that the riding experience was pretty rough and sketchy, two things that I don't particularly like. In fact, I felt like I nearly fell off of the ride on the final turn. Triple Threat also was pretty hit or miss for me, and it didn't help that I pulled a hamstring on my second go on it.
@BrianWitt-w1h At least at this water park, people actually give a crap about their customers safety. Action Park did not. Plus, here they actually have safe and well-working waterslides, Action Park had all of these bizarre rides that were extremely dangerous. Plus, so long as I have been going to the park, nothing dangerous has happened, nothing was on the news. Action Park was a death trap waiting for its next victim, but at least here you don't even have to get in the lake (that's what I do).
@BrianWitt-w1h The history at Lake Lanier is absolutely devastating. At least they recognized the dangerous history of the lake and have closed down the beach. They only allow certain people on the inflatable toys for a certain amount of time. It's incredibly sad about the tragedies that happened here, but at least the park is in good hands these days. I would just avoid the lake all together and focus on the waterslides and restaurants that don't touch the lake.
I think Six Flags White Water is the best waterpark in Georgie, but I haven't been to this one yet and it does have some unique rides so I suppose it could be better depending on how a future visit goes for me.
Let me tell you I am a season pass holder at Six Flags White Water and I love it but this water park here has some really thrilling water slide rides and they are fast so I have to say in a different way this park gives white water the Run for the money and it has a Beach area
Hello! We watch your videos all the time and our 4 year old son just loves them! You inspired him to try water slides and this year we bought a season pass to our local park- Roseland Waterpark in Canandaigua, NY! We would love it if you ever travel this way to check it out!
I would absolutely love to revisit Lanier Island, but my family doesnt trust that place lol. Also I'm here to tell you that the Fin Dunker HURTS 😭 Edit: Is the inflatable waterpark apart of Lanier Island or are those two seperate things?
That racing waters slide looks wild
