When it comes to talent, yes, Ava was probably better than Matthew. No question. I dont think she would have had any chance to win or reach the Black Jacket, but she should have gotten a chance at Dinner Services. But they kept Matthew because they knew that it would be a trainwreck at Dinner Service.

I just noticed that the show has so much less dramatised noise and sound queues. It feels so much more raw and real, but still has that same effect without all the noise and editing
They prob got feedback over the seasons that we dont need a dramatic orchestra for every single moment in the show and let the content speak for itself
@@aznanimegob in my experience there are also huuuge differences in the editing when it comes to the American show vs the UK/Europe version. The American one is so much more dramatic and with way more ads.

There is a loose script that Gordon needs to incorporate, but the contestants aren’t in on it.
Matthew got shredded at elimination it’s funny
Last time Ramsay eliminated someone without giving them a chance to plea was Melissa(S3) and she was the first contestant in history to get that type of brutal elimination. Matthew’s brutal elimination here now was pretty much one of the best moments out this season.

Matthew wasn't the only one who broke a rule for using a meat thermometer, Barbie did that in season 10 which got her kicked out of the kitchen, don't know how he's still there having a signature dish shrimp with 💩 in it, his raw chicken chosen as their 'top' dish, and serving raw lamb, Gordon eliminated him off the spot without even asking him why he should stay in Hell's Kitchen
I was a customer during this dinner service. 50 minute wait, but well worth it. The food was excellent. As a fan of the show, seeing the production was incredible. You don’t realize there are dozens of crew members present to film a show like this. Meeting Mike Tyson was very cool.

After season 11, I never thought it couldn't get any worse, but with the first few episodes of this season, especially this episode, I have NEVER seen a blue team more uncoordinated and disasterous. The defining moment was after they came out of the storage room after having a meeting to get their act together, a few seconds after they come back, they start bickering and arguing and talking over each other in a disorganized fashion, like hens in a henhouse. Truly unbelievable...
Don’t let Antonio trying to bounce back distract you from the fact the Brett makes risotto five times a week.

Oh boy and I said that Matthew would bounce back. The meat thermometer was the last straw. And man 9:47 - 10:10 was one of the best moments out this season. Not a chance to plea for his case. The same thing happened with Melissa(S3) but she was far better than Matthew.
