@@Jack-mv3sx I'm using the word "sophist" very loosely, just to describe someone who gives off the impression of knowing more than he does. And for the purpose of selling you something. Nothing wrong with sales, but when it involves exaggerating how much money he can help you make, or how easy it is to have the "lifestyle" that he does, I think that's wrong. Secondly, there is generally no main point that Owen articulates, like a thesis or clear takeaway. If you tried to take notes on his talks, you would struggle and be shocked when you don't end up with loosely connected, random points. Check out Matt Orchard's "Weird World of Cults" video, since he describes the sophist tactics/silver tongue of cult leaders and I think it describes Owen exactly. Owen is the quintessential sales guy - super charismatic, has read a lot, done lots of business, titles of videos are always extreme and promising life changing thoughts - but he's so obviously a workaholic without the normal need for rest and stability, which most people are not wired to emulate, and thus cannot reach the same results as him. In the end, he overpromises and impresses with smooth words, which is why I call him a sophist.

This is crazy even for people who want to be actualized there's a trance and a hamster wheel ready for us. Endless garbage books and information we think we NEED to consume to be able to feel productive.
Just try to listen to the mainstream motivational stuff and you'll hate yourself in 2 weeks.
You know what I realized listening to these videos all the time. I've got mental blocks in my brain preventing me from just living my life how I want to. How did they get there? Society wants me to be a good little drone and not make waves. Everybody's got their nice little systems that secure their precious little piece of the pie and they are loath to imagine anyone disrupting it. It's fear. Other men's fear is what controls you. I hate these mental blocks that keep me from reaching my potential, as humble as it is. I'm going to destroy them however I can. I'm going to set myself free if it's the last thing I do. Thanks Owen for another great video Owen!

It's shocking how all of this crap is dictated up in our brains, mental blocks for example are so obvious to identify but require extreme will to break and overcome. It's nice having Owen shove the pie in our faces because only then can we bring our awareness to a more concentrated point

One of the things I've noticed people in the world conflate all the time is unity and uniformity. The world seems to think that if everyone looks and acts the same, then they are united. That isn't the case at all. People can look and act much differently than each other and yet be extremely united. It is actually the differences that complement each other and make the group stronger. Can anyone guess why someone in power would want people to think that uniformity means unity?
Dropping bombs of knowledge, thanks for bringing this up. A team needs to be diverse to get a job done effectively like for example an rpg with different classes. A priest to heal, a warrior to do damage, a wizard to deal damage at long range. It's a nerdy analogy but I felt like what you brought up is so vital to understand. Thanks

Speaking of shifting into alternate realities: I could tell you in the most minute detail a preview I saw of the show Kenobi that centered around a live action Darth Maul, right down to the gears in his mechanical legs. Turns out that was the original premise of the show but it was changed before any filming began.
