According to Pink News, lord Ali seems to have been quite active in the promotion of the LGBT movement as well as being influential in the reduction of the age of consent to 16 for homosexuals. It might be why Starmer is reticent to say what a woman is, who knows? Ali seems to be connected to a lot of Socialists in the Labour party.
They think that "declaring" a donation is the end of the matter. It's not. It's the start. It's up to journalists and the public to decide if they were right to accept such gifts or not.

why not make a Law, donations to Political Parties go ahead, all Payments, gifts, bribes, directorships (Sponsors) and donations to individual Politicians at any level illegal, donors and recipient go to Jail...

I heard the guest introduced and saw her captioned as Scarlett Maguire, I knew a person existed with that name but she looked nothing like her. I did a quick check, apparently the ancient former Labour advisor I'd seen before is called Scarlett Mccgwire...
I'm quite enjoying the view of all the Labour voters now regretting their folly.
The unfairness aspect of this is for anyone at work a gift of money would be subject to BIK taxation so I see no reason why MP’s should not be subject to the same kind of taxation!!!

You are believing that the second £16000 was for clothing but it was registered as for the PM office originally and then he change his mind !! and you only have his word for it that it was for clothes, I can’t believe he would need another £16000 worth of clothes so is this yet another cover up for something else because I personally wouldn’t just take his word for anything . By saying it’s for clothes with what is going on he will be thinking no one will actually look into what it was really for. Everything that is being spent or received should have a paper trail . It has to have in any normal company in this country so why not with them.
All donations and gifts for all mps of all parties should STOP. MPS get a very good salary meals drinks at discounted prices in parliament energy bills etc paid for them so they shouldn't get these freebies gifts etc

Yeah right. Starmer has 121 mps and Sunak won 412 mps which Farage helped Starmer to rig Conservative votes to form coalition with Labour. Conservative won GE under Sunak and there is demand from our British public for Labour to be sacked and Sunak to take over with Conservative. Sunak is coming back. Reform had 14% foreigners abroad votes and Labour had 34% foreigners abroad votes. 80% voted for Sunak but he was betrayed by Starmer and Farage.
Starmer achieved fewer actual votes than Corbyn received in 2019. The percentage of votes cast for Labour represented only 34% of all votes cast. That is not an effective mandate if less than 40% of the electorate are supporting you. In many constituencies the margins were very close. SKS lost votes....his percentage of his local constituency vote was down by 16%. So though the House of Commons is filled by Labour MPs it is not a stunning victory if the detail is taken into consideration.
