That’s a great October melting basket! Here in Ontario it’s very cool and blustery so some cozy scents are definitely needed and I’m melting one of my favourites, Cedar Cider. The leaves here are turning beautifully so it’s Painted Leaves in my husband’s man cave. And of course, because it’s Thanksgiving, Harvest Blessings is in this weekend’s lineup. What a great assortment of fall home fragrances! Your home will smell sooo cozy. We had our first cool fall day today (mid-50's F / 10-11 C ) with a colorful mix of reds, russsets, oranges, yellows, and green leaves set against a bright blue October sky. 🍁🍁🍂🍂 So we're about two weeks away from leaf raking season. LOL! I've got all the fall pumpkin 🎃and cider bars in my melting basket, Halloween scents 👻 (Scary Good, Gimme Candy, Ghostly Greetings, Caramel Apple Craze), along with the Harry Potter bars. Hogwarts just seems to fit the season. I'm also planning to melt some well-aged Around the Campfire together with Toasted Marshmallow, maybe a tiny bit of Wild for Fall mixed in, too. That's a great melting basket! I really love Ghostly Greetings, Casting Spells and Around the Campfire. I have those three, as well as Gimme Candy, in my melting basket. The weather here in Kentucky is a perfect 65° and sunny.
You are in for some Fall goodness with that basket! Love it! I don’t do a “basket”, just pull mostly from my bakery and Fall bins and fill in with whatever else I’m in the mood for. I always enjoy hearing about weather also. The weather here is low to mid 80’s, but I see some 70’s as highs in the forecast, so getting better for sure. At least the mornings and evenings are cooling down nicely. Happy Thanksgiving by the way!

I am pretty much deep into the warm, cozy spicy and extra spicy scents. I found a few Red Pear and Pomegranate bars hiding so I think I will break open a couple bars to enjoy over the weekend. The high today was mid 60’s, as we’ve had cool weather much of the week. Tomorrow we’ll be warming up for a while with highs in the low 80’s. Our usual Oct weather was a lot of beautiful days with highs in the 70’s. I’m in Western Kentucky, close to the TN state line. I have family in Iowa, Wisconsin and even Alaska. Sometimes their fall is over in the wink of an eye, and winter will set in. Have a wonderfully blessed Thanksgiving! ❤️

Halloween Town was lovely also! I am impressed with the fall/winter bars as they are performing very well! I complained a lot about the summer collection just did not perform for me. I either could barley smell or could not smell anything with the summer collection.
My quarterly club supposedly ships 10/23 so I will be finally warming the Island Days wax collection!! Haha minus the tan lines one haha also I will be warming my favorite summer scents that I haven't had since 2021 like Camu Camu, Havana Cabana, Mahalo Coconut, Pina Colada Cha cha 🥰 i can't wait!!!! Haha 😄

I wanted to love Halloween Town but I just can’t do it… there’s some herb note that just doesnt sit well with my nose. I’ve tried multiple times and it’s a no for me. Jacks obsession is the only one from the collection that I like and keep around but I love apple smells 😂

My fav stage of Fairy Tale Pumpkin is the last quarter of its life. I smell the sweetest berry note that reminds me of the greatest holiday memories with my family when I was little. Yankee used to (maybe still does?) have a candle out around the holidays that smelted exactly the same. Happy cry for that bar.

I was going to pass on Pumpkin Drizzle Cake until you said it smelled like Upside-down Pineapple Cake but I'm worried about the Maple. With the Around the Campfire did you let it sit or did you mean that since it's been out that it has mellowed out on the smoky?? Here in Massachusetts it's finally fall and I'm absolutely loving it!!
Maple is iffy for me too - I like Vanilla Cinnamon Maple and Blueberry Pancakes, but dislike French Toast and Maple Apple Bourbon. I don’t find Warm Pumpmin Drizzle that mapley, but it’s yummy! Around the Campfire - the smokiness has toned down as I’ve had the bar for about a year. I wouldn’t describe it as campfire smoke now, but when it was fresh it was definitely campfire smoke.
Hahaha you’ll have to let me know what you think! I do recommend letting it cure a few months, but it does work fine brand new too. I found it much stronger after curing though!
I ordered "bedroom " scents. Winnie the pooh, white amber and silk (I hope will be a good bedroom scent), the new plum scent, the Hocus pocus scent, black raspberry vanilla, and welcome little one, with Cashmere and corduroy. Do you think those will be good bedroom scents?

I definitely have better luck with the fall/winter bars too. They’re just deeper and have notes that stick around better and stronger.
