This reporter tried so hard to bait Lewis... respect for not falling prey 🫡
They just wanted Lewis to sh*t on Max, even indirectly. My guy was having none of it and didn't took the bait.

Verstappen races like Senna... any gap is an opportunity, defend hard, take risks... and more drivers should race like that AND should expect to be raced against like that... The questions were completely fine and absolutely on fire. This is what journalists should ask. And drivers need to be more honest. Lewis could have answered in much better ways. He could have said, Max is a very aggressive driver and you can only learn best with experiencing it directly. He could have also told Lando, that he will do great, and just to trust himself and learn.

The past week was pretty toxic towards Max, RB in general and this interviewer was pretty clear with his ill intentions to fuel that toxicity even more. When Lando was interviewd after the race he was frustrated and later they talked about it and saw al the moves on onboard camera's and all different corners that we don't see. If you change your mind about it it's ok. He said after the race that he drove to hard to the Pitt and destroyed his floor. He will not make that mistake again. You can not blame him because that's experience.

Neither are biting at all, I can understand Lewis not as he is not in the fight and there are no tensions and not interested in picking a fight. But Lando, clearly protecting his friendship with Max, as he is too, but, is Lando going to allow friendship get in the way of a championship challenge?! Only more wheel to wheel racing with Max will indicate what he values more. Personally and inevitably the championship will be his priority as he draws close as Mclaren for sure are on the rise! I'm not an expert on racing, i like watching races. I absolutely love the battle between Max and Lando. What happend in the race is sad but hey, race hard and shit happens. What happend in the sprint race was amazing to see. Them to taking over and racing in cornors, I hope Lando and Max duke it out lots of times this season.
Cool if Max wins (I am dutch after all), but also fun if Lando wins, he deserves his wins. Shoulders out, bumping and brushing through cornors is in my opinion fun racing.
Really cool to see also that Mercedes was there to take the points, all and all fun stuf to watch. Politics about it I leave to the teams and judges.

You see how Lewis says McLaren are the quickest car but than mentions max being the quickest driver and not that red bull are the quickest. Max is all time great and what he is doing and will do in any car is incredible.

What a mature young man Lando is. Explains the situation from last weekend perfectly. Tow drivers pushing each other for a win, end up both DNF. But in reflection Lando explains adrenaline and frustration lead him to say what he said. True professional. We’ll done Lewis on not answering irrelevant questions! Lewis has dealt with and moved on from Max incident! Another example of professionalism from him. And what about Ollie Bearman? Now an F1 driver for Haas. Great to see so much British talent on the grid. Would be great to Ollie at Mercedes in the future or any of the other teams that are fighting for titles.

Lesson learnt Lando, think about what you say before you run your gums, Lewis has just become one of my favourite people, they know they're in the presence of greatness with Max.
No it’s normal to say stuff like that. Adrenaline is still high, I prefer an honest answer to the media trained answer. He manned up after calming down, it’s all good.

Lando has changed since he won. I started to dislike his attitude the past couple of races. He lost his cheery spark and got a lot more salty. Understandably so because he knows now that he can win, but he became too eager too quick and made some mistakes when trying to overtake Max. I honestly believe if he played it cool and didn't try his same dive bomb tactics he would have easily passed Max in one of the DRS zones, but he started to panic and the adrenaline of wanting to win makes me believe he made some bad calls.
That being said. I fully agree Max is to blame for that crash. I think Max also became very frustrated with his team and the pitstop that went so poorly. If the pitstop went smooth I also think Max wouldn't have defended so aggressively, but I think he didn't want to lose due to something that wasn't his fault. It's one thing to lose if you're to blame. Its another to lose if other people are to blame. Regardless it was very entertaining to watch and I'm glad they resolved their issues :)
Also gained respect for Lando saying Max didn't have to apologize and admitting he was just heated. Even if he doesn't fully believe it. Takes a lot to say it.
