I watched this anime when if first came out, and I've rewatched it a bunch of times and it's still my favorite. Every episode is a rollercoaster of emotions for me, I cry in most of them, but I also love to see natsume making friends and getting to know the yokais and their story
The added background music totally ruins everything. First, the music has no connection with the anime and sounds out of sync. Second, the background music clashes with the real music form the anime.
Natsume and Nyanko's relationship is one of the sweetest and most touching in anime.
