Every night, a half hour before kids go to bed, they need to put all their things away. Don’t let them leave their things just because they will be playing with them again tomorrow. Kids need to have order in their lives even though they might fight you on this. This is a good rule for you and your husband also. If my husband and I have a snack or something to drink after dinner, those dishes are put in the sink when we head to bed. Never do we leave dishes, paperwork, shoes etc. In the living room. It’s all put in its appropriate spot before bed. It’s hard to push through when you don’t feel like cleaning, but you did great 👍🏻!
You got this! Keep moving forward we are there with you! Tell hubby to move all his tools to the back porch that's closed off. Then you won't have all that in your way!
He has to clean the back porch out because they ain't no room for anything out there 🤣
@@crazymamalife Maybe you could go out there and just throw away trash to make enough room for his tools. Like not worry about decluttering or cleaning the back porch right now. Simply get rid of trash.
It's not trash it's wood and stuff like that
Decluttering is going to make your life easier. Yes it’s hard but so is cleaning around clutter. Chose your hard. 😊

They say kids get overwhelmed by the amount of stuff, just like you do when you look around. Less to choose from would be helpful. Doing great 👍

Your property is so cool! I bet the kids have alot of run in the creek. I lived in a lake community growing up. We didn't live on the lake but my grandparents did. It was so fun to always be able to go swimming in the summer or just explore around the lake.

Love watching your videos…would it help if you start by picking up the clutter first before you sweep. Having a laundry basket in the living room for toy clutter. At the end of the day do a quick mop and toy pickup. That way in the morning you start with a straighten room. It may help to go through the toys and donate them no more toy purchases for a while especially the large ones. Keep only one of any toy.

You have to make youself do it everyday. Make the kids help you. Brad needs to put his tools on the back porch. Donate toys to a charity or organization. Only keep their favorite things. They will appreciate what they have more. You are doing great. You are a great mommy to your kids
Absolutely you can plant your beans to grow up the corn. Its called the 3 sisters when you play squash corn and beans in the same space together.

Watching 'Peeling away the clutter' helped me ...
I find if i grab a Laundry basket and a bin when cleaning. Put all the toys/other room stuff into the Laundry basket then pick up all rubbish, before sweeping will be lot faster. Then put basket into right rooms.

Hi there, I'm a new subscriber from the UK. Wow you got your work cut out huni, however you will get there. Clean little by little every day and you will get there. Decluttering helps alot. Bet your little one has you ran off your feet he looks super hyper. I work full time with 2 kids so I have to tidy as I go or else it would get way overwhelming. I tidy and clean the kitchen before work then after work I put some laundry in and hoover then on my weekends off I do a whole house clean. It's the only way I manage to keep on top of everything. Keep going though girl you got this x looking forward to watching your journey x

Just keep chipping away at it Mama! I watch Remi Clog on RUclips and TikTok for motivation. Have you tried having a bin for rubbish in the living room I have one and it helps a lot. The only way I have found to keep my house tidy with 3 kids is to massively declutter everything we own. I’ve given away and sold so many things because I felt like we were drowning in stuff. I’m not a strict minimalist but definitely don’t have a lot of excess things. You’ll get there xxx

I agree with other commenters. Definitely get rid of some toys and other stuff you don’t need. If you’re overwhelmed by the clutter, so are they. It will make your life so much easier to live with less. I’m working on this at my house too!

Get those boxes out babe! Your going to feel so much better!! Just grab a trash bag and just start throwing it all. I get in those states where I get tired of the clutter and it all goes everything can be replaced but your state of mind and mental health are more important then physical items.

Green beans is great with corn. The nitrogen in the beans help the corn and the vines help stabilize the corn stalks.

I decluttered and set up my home to be easier to maintain. Then, when I lack motivation to clean, I just tell myself it wont be too bad and if I get it done that's less to do tomorrow. Hope that helps! Its a journey but you got this!

Here's what I've been doing Because winter was driving me crazy being stuck in a small cabin . I literally have to pick up trash everyday .I declutter at least once a week.. I am trying to organize. I suck at organization.Ivdont have small kids anymore but I always overdid it with buying toys. If you can sit down with your daughter and donate some toys or put them away and rotate. That would of saved me a lot of sore toes Legos and small toys .I stilk here complaining about getting rid of their Legos.Its been 5 years.🤣🤣🤣

good job on the floor feels better when its done. I would put a small garage can in the living room everyone can help daily to pick up floor items. Your getting there with new systems in place to make your life easier. I love the colour of Chase. How fun was the creek so nice!

HAPPY FRIDAY IN MAY Deborah, family, and fur babies. One day at a time, allow yourself some grace. Clean one corner at a time;, if you have not used something for 6 months to a year; donate or throw away. YOU CAN CLEAN the couch by getting a bowl or bucket and fill with hot water and pinesol, or dawn dish liquid, ring the rag out and go over the couch, as many times as it takes until you think it is good enough. You can do that once every couple months to keep it fresh. When our boys were growing up; and I was tired of seeing their rooms a mess, and it was mama time to clean their rooms, I warned them, anything on the floor is going in the garbage. They learned to keep things where they belong. You can use any type of climbing bean to grow near corn. The beans add nitrogen to the soil for the corn, and the corn serves as a trellis. ENJOY your weekend. STTB

Green beans and corn are fine its almost like the 3 sisters method grow corn first when its tall enough plant beans: 3 sister method includes a ground cover like squash too but I've done it with just beans and corn. Some beans are bush so just get the pole beans those climb
Clean with Barbie (@cleanwithbarbie) is my #1 favourite cleaning channel, and my personal motivation. She cleans some crazy apartments in New York and I always put her videos on and get to work! I highly recommend her content (and Midwest Magic Cleaning & A Beautiful Mess, as well). You’re doing great!!
