I always love when they lean really hard into the differing qualities in Emu in Nene's voices (Emu's being very expressive and strong, Nene's being very smooth and melodic), and I actually think the way they tuned Meiko is both very unique AND does an amazing job of softening the harsher high notes for the human vocalists (Emu gets pitchy on high notes and Meiko helps hide it, Nene looses power on high notes and Meiko helps support her vocals). Also I'd never actually read the lyrics to this song before laugh out loud.
All my opinion, but THIS is how the vocaloids in pjsk should be used!!!! Vocaloids are great and all, but unless they're tuned realistically, they fall short compared to real human vocals when it comes to emotion and feeling. Of course, they aren't tuned super realistically in pjsk, which is totally fine!! But I hate how they get half the lines in some songs instead of supporting the human's vocals lol

Emu's and Nene's vocals in this song absolutely exceeded my expectations, they sound amazing. I still kind of wish MEIKO wasn't there, but her voice definitely helps to make Emu's high(er) notes less harsh.

And that is fair, but I want to offer up some counterpoints. 1. This is mostly me, I think, but part of the appeal for me for this game is the combination of VS and OCs' voices. Something about the mix between the robotic VS and the human OCs really scratched my brain the right way. That's not to say non-VS covers are bad, of course not. I just like their voices mix together. 2. Despite being a part of the cast, content for VS are sparse. I mean, we get only one VS event per year, VS Alts are released much less often, VS Alt Cards are hard to come by, cards for VS are beautiful but also erratic... This issue is even worse for MEIKO specifically, since she is by far the least popular. That's why I always cheer when she gets a PJSK cover. 3. This is a lesser point for other songs, but you KNOW they will release EmuNene solo Alts. You KNOW that once those Alts are released, someone will make a EmuNene no VS ver. Eventually your wish will come true. So for now, let VS fans be fed for a bit by keeping MEIKO here, can you?

Well they can't hit the high notes either so we may as well 💀 Lowering the pitch by 1 or 2 would have made a better sounding song, and we know the VAs can sing that low from previous recordings. This is just a bad cover with bad vocal direction, nothing more to it.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the highest note in this song is G#5/Ab5 and the lowest is B3, lowering the key wouldn't have been a problem. Emu kind of sounded like she strained a little bit, yet surprisingly, kept her voice strong. Most of the time, Emu sounds like she has an easy time going high and she has good low notes too. So lowering the key for her wouldn't have been much of a problem.

Luego tenemos a un Vocaloid, en este caso se trata de la maravillosa MEIKO. Se sabe que casi todas las voces de los Virtual Singers que utilizan en el pjsk son terribles. La de MEIKO no se queda atrás. Aunque extrañamente en esta canción lograron que suene medianamente bien. Creo que hay un problema con este cover. Emu, como siempre, es molesta de escuchar. Será muy buena como personaje, pero para cantar es de las peores.
Luego tenemos a un Vocaloid, en este caso se trata de la maravillosa MEIKO. Se sabe que casi todas las voces de los Virtual Singers que utilizan en el pjsk son terribles. La de MEIKO no se queda atrás. Aunque extrañamente en esta canción lograron que suene medianamente bien.
Nene es de lejos la que mejor cantó este cover, y eso que en lo personal su voz no es de mis favoritas. En definitiva, Nene salvó a este cover del desastre. ;3
Aunque algo que no entiendo es que, ¿por qué eligieron poner King y Queen para WxS? Opino que hubieran estado mejor en N25 o VBS. De hecho, ahora que lo pienso, en VBS hubiera quedado excelente.

Don't get me wrong, Meiko's voice and tuning are AMAZING (especially compared to the other songs), but I feel like she shouldn't be here. It's just that the ruikasa King cover not having a Vocaloid or third person makes me want the same for this one as well
if meiko left, its would of match with ruikasa’s cover. king and queen. And emunene had never have a duo it’s really unfair. I am look at n25

@@Kayllister291 She definitely would! Her voice blends with WxS very nicely, and it wouldn't be as jarring as MEIKO's since her voice is as high as Emu's but as soft as Nene's.
