  • This is a follow up video to • A White Rose & Ivy Can... - today we look at changing up the look with lavender lilac roses & hydrangeas!
The last time I shared this design, I promised to be back with ideas on how the basic structure could be changed up using different botanicals. So as promised here is version 2 & as an aside, this type of designing really does carry its weight in visual worth. Stay tuned for version 3!
Happy designing and I’ll see you another day with even more combinations to that this design to another level or towards another function where flowers need to create a statement.

Beautiful Astar. I love that you showing how to add to an arrangement that is already complete. It really does "refresh" it. Thank you for sharing

Very pretty with the white and lavendar. The graceful fern adds so much.

So opulent, and you have proven "never too many hydregeas."

Very pretty!!! I love lavender and soft purples, too, so this is definitely something I’d like! I find that lavender and related shades go with just about everything! Almost as easy to use as green. I even have lavender socks because there’s almost no outfit you can’t wear them with! Think this was a great way to give this base arrangement legs! You’re making me excited for Christmas already, too! 😁

Hi Jesse, I have to agree with you. I say bring back all the shades, tones and tints of purple. Infact, wouldn't it marvellous to venture back into the "mauve' era. The colour and the movement must have been so exciting at the time. I thought I might be finished with this design, but now that you mention Christmas, I'm on a roll. Warm regards Astar

This is beautiful! I would have loved to see the mechanics underneath before the greenery and florals were added.❤

Hi there, if you look back a few weeks, you'll see the video sharing how to lay down the foundation foliage. Once completed I finished it off with a combination of creamy roses. Hope this helps. Warm regards, Astar.
